Sometimes I moonlight as an associate officiant for Maria at A Sweet Start and it is always a pleasure. This weekend was no exception with a beautiful wedding for Julie and Brian at The Nonantum Resort. The clouds parted and the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. It was the perfect day! ☀️💙⛵️⚓️

How it all began...

Since I am a notary in Maine (Notarys perform civil marriages in Maine rather than a Justice of the Peace) friends starting asking me to officiate their weddings and I thought, sure, that sounds fun! And it really was- there is nothing better than helping your friends and family marry their soulmates. Since then I have branched out and performed ceremonies for people that contacted me through public networks or referrals. I’ve enjoyed getting to know them, being with them on their big day, and learning something new with each event. Hopefully this will be a business that I can continue to grow and have opportunities to offer my services to even more couples in Maine.
