A Business Originating from the Pandemic: Fairy Bites Delicacies
Formerly known as Copper Mask Fairy, Fairy Bites Delicacies has an interesting backstory of how we stumbled upon this vendor at another pop-up.
It all began in 2021 when Chris stumbled upon the Filipino parking lot pop-up in Citrus Heights. He was intrigued by a vendor who sold Chrispy Delis (anchovy) and decided to purchase a bag. Fast forward to 2023⏩ We host our own events now and @fairybites happened to reach out to us, referred by another PH OHANA vendor… and we realized how it all came back full circle!
Though the business has undergone a name change and added new items to the menu, the same great people are behind it all. We're excited to welcome them back to the PH Ohana for the second time. Don't forget to check out their booth at Da Marketplace and try some of their delicious dishes!

After Crescenciana passed away, Kenneth promised to finish the artwork she had left behind.
📖In his book, "Crescenciana," Kenneth shares their conversations, memoirs, and artwork, weaving them together to tell his grandmother's story.
🧳The book takes you on a journey through Crescenciana's childhood memories in the Philippines, her journey to becoming a U.S. citizen, and her survival during World War II and the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.
💐Alongside his personal experiences of grief, Kenneth's book is a touching memoir that emphasizes the importance of preserving and commemorating your family's stories.
It encourages readers to look towards the future while honoring and cherishing the legacies of their loved ones.
