Bear & Crown is excited to celebrate Scotland’s national holiday with a wee pub crawl and party featuring Scottish food and drink!

The pub crawl starts at 5pm at the Last Stop Saloon in Old Sacramento where you can pick up your blue swag and Saltire flag, and will move to the Bear & Crown at 6:30pm for the party and food. Feel free to wear tartan or blue. Kilts are encouraged!

Neep & Tattie Fritters
Two turnip, potato, and bacon fritters served with curry cream

Cod Corn Chowder
Our take on the Scottish classic, the cullen skink

Blueberry Cranachan
Fruit parfait made with whisky cream, blueberries, and a crunchy oat topping.

St. Andrew’s Day is an annual celebration of Scottish culture, food, and drink. Like St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, Scotland’s national holiday is on the birthday of it’s patron saint. Unlike Ireland, Scotland trades green for blue, leprechauns for the Loch Ness monster, and Jameson for Johnnie Walker. Bear & Crown is excited to bring a taste of the British Isles to California and share Scottish culture and pride with Sacramento.
