The James Webb Space Telescope isn't just for looking into deep space, it also makes discoveries right here in our local solar system. Now we're bringing these discoveries to your local system. We are excited to announce that the Sac State Planetarium will be hosting TWELVE showings of our JWST One-year Anniversary shows in the month of August, and our ticket launch date is set for this Friday at noon. All ticket sales are handled through the Hornet Ticket Office. For generations, women have been pushing the boundaries of what we know in astronomy. As a member of the Event Horizon Telescope Team in 2016, American Engineer Katie Bouman created an algorithm known as CHIRP. With it, we were able to see the first ever image of a black hole from the center of the M87 Galaxy. Find out more about this history maker and other incredible women in astronomy during this month's brand new show, "Women in Astronomy." Did you know that Sac State Students are FREE to home athletic events?

Keep that OneCard handy for Volleyball & Soccer this Fall (show us at the door), but new this year for Football, your student ticket must be claimed through the AXS app and scanned at the gate for entry.

Your student ID is your passcode.

Hello Ticket Buyers,

Per the mandate from President Nelsen on 3/11/2020 all in-person events must be cancelled, postponed or moved to a virtual format effective March 12th through May 20th.

We in the ticket office are working with the different departments for which we sell tickets and getting guidance from them on what is happening with their performances and events.

As we get information, we are notifying each customer via email or phone about the events for which they have purchased tickets. We will be systematically doing refunds for our events.

Please be patient as we have more than a thousand transactions to process.

Most credit card purchases should be refunded within the next week or so, and it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to be reflected on your credit/bank account.

For anyone who purchased with cash or check, refunds will come in the form of a check that will have to be requested and processed and may take several weeks.

If any of your information has changed since purchasing or you have not heard from us before the end of March, please feel free to contact us at 916-278-4323 with updated contact information so we can get your refund to you as soon and smoothly as possible.
If you have any unused vouchers for Theatre and Dance events and would like a refund, we will need the number off the barcode to verify which vouchers are being returned, either read to us over the phone or presented in person here in the Athletic Center ticket office. Alternatively, vouchers may be held on to and used in the 2020-2021 school year.

This is a fluid situation and things have been changing quickly. We will post any new information as we get it on our website csus.edu/hornettickets and on our page - Hornet Tickets at Sacramento State.

All 14 December Sac State Planetarium shows sold out in record time today! Under a minute? Maybe two?! These are just the mail orders placed today! They will be going out in the next two days (in order of event dates), but we had to have a little fun first! Thanks for your patience while we navigate handling the much deserved excitement over the newest attraction at Sacramento State!

A week ago, Hornet football made history, winning the 66th Causeway Classic and claiming its first Big Sky championship. Thank you to the 19,882 fans who filled the stadium with Hornet pride — the second-biggest crowd in school history!

But it didn't end there. This Saturday, Dec. 7, we’ll see you back at Hornet Stadium as Sac State competes in its first berth in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. The fourth-seeded Hornets will face Austin Peay at 6 p.m. (For tickets: http://www.hornetsports.com/tickets/Fball19.)
