Santa Maria Speedway represents the proverbial "home game" for Templeton driver Kaleb Montgomery. The track is less than an hour drive from his house! Montgomery is super consistent and is just a break or two away from stealing a NARC feature event headline (and he is not too bad with a t-shirt cannon either.) Speaking of Santa Maria, the NARC 410 Sprint Cars Series will be there on Saturday, July 27th.

The NARC 410 Sprint Cars are returning to Santa Maria Speedway next Saturday to do battle on the banked one-third mile oval. The racing will be hot and the weather will be cool. Don't miss it!

One of the more unusual appearing cars in the pit area at the Howard Kaeding Classic belonged to midget driver Kyle Beilman. The Los Angeles, CA driver broke out an all-new operation to make his NARC 410 sprint car debut. What is the Dave reference? Dave.com is a financing company that sponsors the number 31. We look forward to seeing more of this team in the future.

Justin Sanders was a master in slower traffic, forced to thread the needle a couple of times just to keep Cole Macedo at bay! When all was said and done, Sanders efforts claimed him his 20th career NARC victory at the Howard Kaeding Classic.

Michael Faccinto was on the hunt in the Howard Kaeding Classic feature event. He transferred to the 30-lapper by way of the semi, started 22nd and finished a very impressive eighth. That earned him as the F & F Racing Team the Williams Roofing Hardcharger Award.

Justin Sanders outran Cole Macedo to capture his second Howard Kaeding Classic winners paycheck in three years! With his fifth win of the NARC season, he took over the NARC championship point lead by three points over Macedo.

Tonight's HK Classic heat race winners were Justin Sanders Racing, Shane Golobic Racing, Chase Johnson Racing and Sean Becker. Sharing in the glory were some crew members.

Sean Becker only claimed $20 in Mettec Lap Leader money at Petaluma Speedway last week, but went home with a $5200 winner's payday. Dylan Bloomfield earned $280 for leading the first 28 laps.

The Northern Auto Racing Club would like to thank Bud Kaeding for all of his efforts in making the 14th Annual Howard Kaeding Classic a success and a reality. Great events like this don't happen by accident and there was a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes at the HK Classic. Bud hustled up the sponsors to allow this event to pay $6900 to win and $1000 to start and continue to grow his grandfather's legacy! Howard is proud, Brent is proud, and the racing community is as well! THANK YOU!

San Jose's Burt Foland Jr. will be back in action at the Howard Kaeding Classic. As you may remember, Foland was involved in the massive 10-car accident at the start of the Petaluma Speedway feature and sustained major damage.

The King of the West-NARC series has been entertaining open wheel fans in California since 1960. It features the top sprint drivers battling wheel-to-wheel for the coveted King of the West crown in 950-horsepower 410 c.i. machines. The 2018 series features 16-races at nine different dirt tracks in Northern and Central California.
