Should you invest in a nice chair for your ceremony? YES! Next weeks journal entry is going to take a dive into which design elements make the biggest impact on your wedding day and your chair is high on that list. Picking and choosing all the elements that go into the visual side of the wedding day can be really fun if you’re able to determine what is a priority before shopping. Your ceremony area is basically all chairs and hopefully some gorgeous floral arrangements, but the chair is still a big part of the show. Don’t overlook them!

Life is fragile and can end at any moment, so I’m grateful for every day I get to spend with this man, but each year that we pass an anniversary is a sweet reminder of how much time we’ve already had. Although we’ve been together nearly 16 years, today we celebrate nine years married! Planning weddings is a true passion of mine for many reasons. I enjoy building relationships, keeping the details organized, utilizing my creative skills and managing time – these are all things I have fun with, but I’m really there for the love story and I love ours most of all ✨

This year we celebrated with an overnight in the Saint Helena and Calistoga area at some of my favorite spots. My favorite of all is the Olabisi tasting room in downtown Calistoga. The wine is some of the best and the setting is cozy and inviting. Thank you for letting us take over the tasting room for a little bit so we could have some fun ❤️
