Smoked up a couple racks of ribs for the fam yesterday came out great! Full of flavor like always when you use Pawpa Flavor. Like the color of the bark as well. Great smoke ring!

The smokin rose bbq comp family took home another award today. Second place in the state fairs very first rib competition! Glad to be invited to participate in making history for Californias state fair! We had a blast. Rough start with being rear ended and wrecking our smoker trailer but very appreciative to the Loomis ACE Hardware, Oden's Kitchen, and of course Pawpa Flavor for making all of this happen. Couldn’t have done this without help from my supportive wife Marlee Anderson and my brother Cody Stam.

For those of you that have been asking where we I’ll be next we, we will be at the garden valley Fourth of July parade. Representing America and freedom!!!!! The menu will be our award winning ribs, pulled pork sandwiches with slaw, watermelon feta salad and broccoli salad. Refreshing sides to help keep you cool. We will also have breakfast burritos so skip your breakfast at home and come try our smoked pulled pork breakfast burritos! What a great weekend at the placer county fair! Smokin Rose BBQ competed in the rib cook off this year and we were thrilled to place 2nd in judging and 3rd in people’s choice!! Still so ecstatic with the outcome of the competition there was some great teams out there. We couldn’t have done it without our family. Marlee Anderson Brian Torrez David Collins Cody Stam, and Alex Worden. Have to make a shoutout to everyone that came out for support as well! The flavors that Pawpa Flavor brings was a huge part in this win as well. Loved the color and flavors they bring to Saint Louis ribs. It was a hot weekend but well worth it. Can’t wait for next years competition. Can’t brag about my wife enough not only has she backed me thru this adventure she also does anything and everything she can to help me.

Competition time tomorrow starting at 1 for judges box then on to peoples choice ends at 3:30. Will be a very long day but excited for this day!
