Mega Mirror ball Install finalized.. 1/4 ton chain hoist raises and lowers the ball AND the motor to make it spin.. custom recoil power cable to feed the motor did the trick!(see photo comment)

Finally get to announce the most exciting project….The entire Lite Brite Productions - d&b audiotechnik rig is going in for a long run of events at the newly permitted 2000 cap venue in Oakland! (Fatboy Slim performed here last year). We debut the rig this Friday featuring none other than Richie Hawtin and live with ISOxo on Saturday!

The Sphere in Las Vegas is installing sound modules by Holoplot that come equipped with a multitude of built-in amplification and processing capabilities, driving small drivers and tiny silk dome speakers. With over 160,000 of these tiny speakers (each module contains over a hundred speakers), the venue aims to combine them with immersive multi-technology seating.

Could this be the future of reinforced sound? It's a possibility. However, it did not win the TEC Award at NAMM 2023 for best new Sound Reinforcement Speakers. That honor went to Meyer’s Panther. While the specifications appear promising, their overall SPL (sound pressure level) seems questionable, but they are certainly the real deal. It's worth noting that each module weighs in at 335 lbs, so there is a large cabinet to house the tiny speakers.

U2 will debut the venue with a series of shows later this year
