We all have a story of where our defining point in our lives begin. I have always and will always give absolute credit to the Inwoods family for unknowingly beginning my future, helping me discover who I am as an individual, teaching me patience and kindness by example and letting me learn all the different aspects of each little department from the careful handling and packing of china, to the joy of benefiting from planting your own garden, to the random gifts and teaching me proper gift wrapping during the holidays and the ultimate absolute joy of working in the floral department. I've soared in life with these skills and now own my own businesses and nonprofit from the seeds that were planted during my first job at Inwoods. I'd absolutely love to be able to fly back home and give hugs to the Inwood brothers. One was stern and nearly scared me but taught me that it's important to be aware and make sure people take me seriously, the other was more jovial and taught me to have fun and enjoy each day. The two together brought balance. And the twin sisters in the floral department taught me inner peace, I've lost that here and there over the years but often reminded myself of them to help me get through tough times. A little side note, the lady that worked in the garden department was feeding her grandkiddo and while the kiddo was feeding her with a fork, accidently stabbed her in her eye with the fork, yet she still smiled and was grateful she had that moment with her grandkid even though she nearly lost an eye. As a grandparent myself now, I remember her often and the pure joyous smile she had every time she talked about her grandkid. Here's an article I found.
