The longer I am in this industry, the more I hear from clients: "I just need a quick headshot."

I understand the feeling but respectfully want them to rethink that. Headshots are better when they have soul, connection, and most importantly, authentic personality.

You're hiring me to say things for you where words couldn't possibly be enough.

So, hope you'll be ok if I put my entire being into making something soulful for you.

You may also just be able to tell. Thats the incredible thing about sitting with other folks or perhaps even walking with them in their journey.

What an incredible milestone to beat. Over 1.2 million children can grow up knowing they won’t fear not walking.

It’s an honor to work alongside my fellow Rotarians who are making a difference in the lives of our communities here at home and around the world.

Ironically, the greatest change we hope to make is in our own hearts and minds.

Last Rotary year, past Gov. Chris Casella issued a challenge of raising enough money for One Million children to be immunized against Polio.

Our district leadership is proud and humbled at the same time that this district (Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, & Citrus Counties) raised enough money to provide over 1.2 MILLION doses. 🥺🥺🥺

End Polio Now is a global initiative of Rotary International with a simple message: “So that they too may walk.” We are so close to eradicating this disease from the planet.

Dream a dream worth chasing! Thank you to all the Rotarians that answered the call. By joining the movement, you all are the real MVP’s.🏆🏆🏆

A little over a year ago, and I made these images to adorn the tribute of three songs written by him to honor his dad’s passing from cancer.

It’s called “Remembrance.”

I’m so blessed to make art that matters. I’m blessed to call Kyle a brother.

He’s currently got a new tune playing on on which was featured on the show too.

A few days late but I couldn't go on without thanking the greatest generation. This is Sgt. Harold Gross who is a friend of mine. 80 years ago he landed on Normandy and fought in WWII.

He is currently at the VA hospital facility in Orlando and is 99 years old.

Dance portraits!

Today feels like a musical day and these portraits of young and talented dancer brought a smile to my face.

I love working with other artists, it creates a kind of mutual respect that says: "I'm here to learn about how you paint" to one another.

It really is a special privilege for me each time I get to do these.

Walked around the Safety Harbor's Market on Main on Sunday and also checked into House of Petals Flower Co. You could say that it was a Floral Theme.

I took my camera and it was a lovely and much needed break from work for a bit.

Kim has a definite flare for color. She's a talented voice over artist in Tampa Bay.

Having said that, while I enjoyed this headshot I made for her, I kept coming back to the absence of color. I think it's the sweet and empathetic, approachability of her expression that draws me in better in B&W.

Curious to know if you have a different opinion??

I don't often shoot portraits on white backgrounds. However, when your client has a guideline to maintain it's easy to take a departure from personal preferences.

My assignment is to deliver the quality Marsh McLennan Agency - Bouchard has come to expect over the three years I've had the pleasure of making portraits for their executives and sales professionals.

Here is some recent work. The goal is not identical but allow a little room for personal expression and variate the background tone just enough to make it feel different.

If you've been to The Floridian Social then you know it's dark in there...these images without the aid of flash in 99.9% of the shots was one of the hardest I've taken on in a good long while.
