Happy new year everyone!

It is with mixed emotions that we officially announce the closing of Cypress Hill Garden Venue. We have loved hosting all the weddings, receptions, birthday parties and baby showers over the last four and a half years! So many special people are now good friends. We are ready to explore the next phase in our lives: downsizing in our retirement! In the next few months or so, we will be listing our property for sale and are sincerely hoping that the new owners will reopen the gardens for all of you who love it. Many, many thanks to everyone who helped make Cypress Hill Garden Venue a great success! ❤️

On a beautiful day in early September, Tason and Jazmin finally became Mr. and Mrs. Lemon, surrounded by dear family and friends. Memories were made and hearts were full and noone objected to this union! We wish you much happiness as you go forward in your wonderful family together!

We are unable to man a booth at the awesome 2023 Gila Valley Bridal and Event Fair at The Venue and Vignette on Main as we are amidst our spring clean-up and first lawn mowing of the year..so, we'd like to invite anyone interested to an open garden event on April 22nd! Come and self tour the gardens! If you have any questions or would like a guided tour, I'll be the old lady in the funky straw hat, mowing, leaf blowing, w**d burning, shovel wielding, w**d eating, or whatever task needs doing! And I don't mind being interrupted! Come out and view our gardens!

Something new at Cypress Hill Garden Venue! We've built a taller sister to our wedding arch to frame the entrance to our Middle Garden and added another set of concrete urns. This arch is begging for your custom decor! I'm going to string it with lights and will put a picture in the comments tonight.

It was a cloudy, windy, early September day. The tables were dressed simply. The chairs were in place. An elegant white rose garland hung on the wedding arch. This was the setting as Savannah and Mike exchanged vows, becoming husband and wife before family and friends. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lewis! A long and happy life to you and those you love!

Something new at Cypress Hill Garden Venue..the Double Diamond Bridge! The Double Diamond Bridge connects the south parking lot directly to the new Lower Garden area with its stunning view of Mt. Graham. Construction began last December and we are so happy to announce its completion!

A glowing bride, a dream gown, beautiful flowers, delicious food, cake and refreshments, family and friends, a handsome groom, and a special unity candle ceremony..all came together on a warm evening in November, as Adelita and Glenn became Mr. and Mrs. Agee! Happy anniversary Jastene and DJ! One year ago tonight, on a stormy, mid-autumn evening, this couple became husband and wife! As cold as it was, she and her court looked like beautiful, forest nymphs in their empire waist, sleeveless gowns and floral crowns! DJ and the men were equally stunning and handsome in their attire! Traditions, a gorgeous cake and dancing into the night despite the storm and wind! Congratulations and best wishes for many more Mr. and Mrs. Burrel!

We really enjoyed hosting Jiselle Brook's Sweet 17 birthday party last night. Beautiful geode cakes by Mary's Bake Shop, cookies from Sugar Street Cakery and scrumptious three plate-choice dinners catered by Nana's Kitchenette were enjoyed by family and friends. Special thanks to our wifi guy at Gigalinx for the Hail Mary, last minute patch in so everyone could enjoy the Justin Gaethje victory! Happy, happy birthday sweet Jiselle!

It couldn't have been more magical if her car turned into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight! It was a Cinderella wedding for the beautiful Brittney and her prince, Tristan. Friends and family witnessed their vows to each other with the majestic Mt. Graham in the background. Photos were taken and then the celebrating commenced beginning with the first dance as husband and wife, DJ Medina's music had everyone shaking a leg! A delicious selection of Italian pasta and salad was enjoyed by all and then there was cake! There was a super fun donut board too. Congratulations and best wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Garcia!

Updates continued..we spread 12 tons of 3/8" gravel around our new dance floor in the Middle Garden. It's called Coronado brown and it's from Curtis Country Store.

Updates continued..not all improvements are pretty..our electrician gave us a ceiling fan/light in the Mermaids' Lair, a receptacle in building B (our backup building in case of foul weather), an outdoor receptacle by our new dance floor in the Middle Garden, and a 15amp double receptacle to serve both the Middle and Upper Gardens.

Our next couple of posts will bring you up to date with our improvements over the summer/fall season..first, we added a concrete dance floor under the light pergola in the Middle Garden. Then we added lots more lights!

One year ago today, Nicole and Marcus were joined in Holy Matrimony before family and friends at Cypress Hill Garden Venue. It was a joyous occasion on this warm, early autumn day with everyone hugging and laughing, drinking merrily and eating - CAKE! A four tier, semi-naked marble flavor with signature buttercream with the couple's monogram in sage green with mirroring sprays of handcrafted sugar flowers by The Cake Hive. Beautiful decorations were hung but the bride shined above it all in her white lace bodice, sleeveless gown. After traditions were observed, the dancing commenced into the night with live music and a DJ. Mr. and Mrs. Kitcheyan, we wish the happiness from these memories to be with you and your family forever - Happy Anniversary and many, many more!
