Banquet manager Mark was recently nominated by a fellow staff member to receive the HORIZONS Spirit of Hospitality box for going above and beyond in his role!

If you know Mark, you know he doesn't like his picture taken - but what you may not know is how much time and effort he puts in his role. With a coffee in one hand, his event paperwork in the other and a smile on his face - his can do attitude radiates off of him and inspires those around him. From coming in hours early (and on his days off) to rolling up his sleeves to help clear plates, his cool demeanor and strategic thinking helps solve any issue before they even have a chance to occur!

Susan, our go to accounting and financial resource, was recently nominated by staff to receive her very own Spirit of Hospitality box for going above and beyond in her role!

While helping create and monitor our KPIs and making sure we are headed into the right direction, she also spends countless hours teaching our staff how each and every decision has an effect to our overall budget and how we can make impactful choices. This is all on top of her normal everyday workload!
