The Emerald embodies many things in many cultures, but none so much in the middle east. Dating back to Babylonian time, the emerald was considered THE gem of healing. Today emeralds are considered "The true Love's Gem". The Emerald's color bringing to mind the fresh spring grass and new growth, to symbolize their love being re-born anew with each year. To us the Emerald embodies inner strength and

beauty. The same inner strength and beauty that can be found in us all. The strength and desire to become the best version of your self that you can be. To learn, to strive, to be. Come, say hello to your dancing self. Zumurrud dance. Dance for health, dance for wellness, dance for life.

Many thanks and much love to The Habibi Dancers of Lansing for hosting such a fantastic workshop and show!!! We absolutely adore Kamrah !!!!! Fantastic instruction, an exhilarating performer, and warm lovely human. If you have an opportunity to study with him we highly suggest you pounce on that opportunity!!! Now we are home, soaking our feet and enjoying a lovely beautiful sunny day!

Our feet are sore and dirty, but out hearts are full. We had a Lovely time this weekend a Phoenix Rising show. A small fraction of the Zumurrud Dancers were able to attend, But my goodness, Soo proud. They. Were. Fantastic. Soo proud. They came out of quarantine like a bunch of belly dance rock stars. Soo pleased to be dancing again.
