Yup, music is such a part of the . For some of those that grew up in the late 70's into the 80's, this list really does feel like a list of "standards" - almost cliche when they drop into a set. For others, they'd have no idea. Makes me wanna go pull all these tracks and mix all of 'em!! Yes, I have most of them on vinyl. Wish I had them all!!
I grew up when breakdance was very popular.
In these times Electro was part of the international pop music.
We had a US Army base in town.
The DJs in the music club in our town played much US imported vinyl. R&B, Soul, Electro, Hip-Hop.
I've listened to these tracks when they came out.
This track list looks like a pure cliche today .
Almost unreal and very nostalgic.
This playlist is burned into my robotic memory and I am raised and socialized with these tunes.
That's way bigger then just knowing these tracks.
I am one of many 'cause back then it was part of pop music and a lot of teenagers were listening to that sound.
Back then we also listened to C64 computer music.
To me this is the beginning and the foundation of Electro and I am the logical extension of it.
