WOW!! We've all heard the saying "it takes a village" and that's exactly what we saw today in action! We are so grateful for all the residents and total strangers who shared our post regarding the fluffy dog found at the playground this morning. We've had so much interest in this dog through calls and messages, that we wanted to provide everyone with an update.

Our Community Association Manager, Shanna Fredrickson and our Assistant Community Manager, Christine Hart, were able to take the stray dog to Shores Animal Hospital for evaluation, treatment, and grooming. This poor dog had matted fur that was so bad the only way to provide relief was to shave it off.

We want to give a huge shout out to the AMAZING team and doctors at Shores Animal Hospital. We called them in a panic shortly after opening this morning and they were ready for us when we pulled up to the curb. We don't know where else you can get this level of service but we knew that our fluffy stray was in the right hands! It is such a blessing to have an animal hospital right here in the Shores!

With a checkup, treatment, and grooming session, we are happy to share that this sweet dog is off the streets and is safe. Christine will be fostering him in hopes the owners come forward. In the event they do not, it looks like this will be a "foster fail" and this fur-baby will have a forever home with Christine and her family.

Thank you to all the kind residents who reached out to offer help and assistance. A special thank you to residents Eric and Marge for stopping your morning routine to help us wrangle this dog for transport. We appreciate you all!

Good Morning Shores Residents! This sweet male dog was found on the playground this morning at Riverview Club. We took him to the vet and he is not microchipped so we do not know who the owner is. Please share with your friends and neighbors in the Shores to help us find his owner. Please call the Riverview Club at 904-797-6441 if you have information on the owners. Thank you!

Do you plan to use the Riverview Club swimming pool for the 4th of July? Just a reminder this is one of our busiest holiday's at the pool. Please make sure you have purchased your daily passes and pool memberships before Wednesday, July 3rd. The club office will be closed July 4-5th and we no longer sell passes at the gate. Thank you!

As we are heading into the heat of the summer, please remember to use extra care with your furry friends! We have seen lots of dogs being walked on the hot asphalt during the hottest times of the day. This can actually cause burns on their paws and it's painful.
