Moonlight Theatre announces auditions for the hilarious world premier musical r***e "ALIVE AND KICKIN" written and directed by Broadway veteran Stephan De Ghelder! ALIVE AND KICKING is a musical r***e celebrating the challenges of growing older and all the joys and hilarity seniors experience in today’s world including technology, relatives, doctors, pills, retirement, dating and seniors versus youth, all in song, comedy sketches and dance. (Think CAROL BURNETT SHOW and FORBIDDEN BROADWAY).

Cast Breakdown:
Two senior females (over 50 or appear so)
Two senior males (over 50 or appear so)
One male (between 20 and 30)
One female (between 20 and 30)

Performance Dates:

June-20th-28th

Fri. Sat. And Sun.

8 total performances


Pay: Stipend

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will be 4 days per week for 4 weeks at Moonlight Theatre. Rehearsal days to be determined by cast and creative team.

What To Prepare:
Please prepare a song to show off vocal range and/or one comedy song if possible.

Where:
Auditions will be held at Moonlight Theatre, 7 S. 2nd Ave, St. Charles, IL
Sat. May 10th from 1-4pm
and
Mon. May 12th from 6:30-9:30pm

Audition by appointment. Walk-ins will be seen as time permits.

He has two comedy specials with DryBar Comedy, “Negative Comments” and “Composed,” and has garnered over 200 million views across social media. In 2018 he was selected to perform on the “New Faces” showcase at the international Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.
