Jen had such a vision for everything. From the floating candles up the staircase, to the florals, to the beautiful ball gown dress, to the adorable shots with her flower girls, everything was perfect.

Because the venue is so gorgeous, the rain couldn’t possibly bring us down.

I always struggle to take decent photos of my own because a) I’m not a professional photographer, and b) I’m very busy coordinating, BUT I like these two pictures I captured.

Isabel & Joe, thank you for including me in your wedding day! I will admit: I was a little nervous to coordinate a 400+ event, but honestly, I’m so happy I did! Your family and friends were so much fun!

You can tell pretty quickly if two people are right for each other or not. I spent a grand total of maybe 15 hours with Ashley and Jeremy, and it’s easy to see they are perfect for each other.

They make each other smile and laugh, they have this hilarious banter, and you can tell they adore each other.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with them! 💕💕

I absolutely adore these warmer colors, and simple floral design. Light wedding decor is my favorite! Believe it or not, you don’t need a lot of decor to make your wedding beautiful!

April showers bring May flowers! It’s not May yet, but I wanted an excuse to share a picture of this beautiful bride!

Here’s a few April wedding planning tips:

1) Choose a venue with blooming spring flowers. In Minnesota, there’s A LOT of gorgeous options.

2) Super cute idea from my buddy: Offer little plant pots as wedding favors with a sign that says, “Help our love grow.” 🥹

3) Pastels are PERFECT for an April wedding! No, you don’t need to pick Easter colors, but it’s perfectly okay to pick bright, beautiful colors.

4) Put flowers on your wedding cake. That usually goes without saying, but surprisingly, not everyone takes me up on that suggestion, no matter the season.

5) Choose lighter colors for the groomsmen. Tan or even lighter green would be unique, but lovely.

🌻 March Wedding Planning Tips 🌻

March is a unique month. It’s not quite spring, but we’re moving into warmer weather. It’s also a great time for budget friendly couples to book because most venues offer discounts at this time of year.

Read on for some March planning tips!

1. March can have some unpredictable weather, so I would advise an all-indoor wedding. Expect possible rain or snow.

2. If you’re looking for sunset photos, keep in mind: March has an earlier sunset. You might be looking at between 6:55-7:00 PM.

3. Theme ideas? Consider a “spring awakening” to include pastels, delicate florals, and greenery.

4. Dresses with sleeves is an excellent idea for a March wedding. It’s not quite cold enough for a shawl, but it’s not quite warm enough for sleeveless either.
