Sometimes, doing flowers doesn't always go as planned.
Friday night I made two corsages for two lovely ladies going to prom on Saturday.
When I woke up Saturday morning, both corsages had browned terribly 😖
I ran around town to find whatever flowers I could use to re-make or spruce the corsages up. I admitted my faults to my customer, and thankfully she was so understanding and so kind about it!
Flowers like to have a mind of their own. I've done corsages countless times without flaw, but this time they just didn't want to work with me.
Such is a the life of a florist. I am so grateful to have had such an understanding customer and I hope her daughters had an amazing time at prom!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
As the weather turns a little gloomy here in Minnesota, I arranged the flowers my roommate got from her husband. One,
because the flowers were so pretty. Two, because I've just been itching to arrange something!

Wedding flower time!!
The day is (almost) here!! I'm so honored to help Niki and Derek with their wedding by putting their flowers together for them.
I may have a kidney infection, but nothing will stop this florist from getting the job done!

Wedding flower weekend!
I want to give a HUGE shout-out to Sandy at Hermes Floral in Falcon Heights for supplying me with the flowers I needed and even going through THREE different wholesalers and a farm for my flowers! She truly went above and beyond :)

Time to work on wedding quote #2!
I met Nicole while I was living with my best friends in St. Cloud. She became a close friend of mine and we have continued to keep in touch, despite her moving to the Twin Cities and getting a big girl job.
Derek and Nicole have known each other since high school. Going off to college and other ventures separated them, but fate brought them back together :)
I'm so happy to be a part of their special day!

Hello everyone!
With this "shelter in place" in effect in MN, it gives me time to work on wedding quotes!
The first one I am working on today is for a dear family friend of mine Chrissie and her fiancee Marcos.
Chrissie and Marcos have known each other since high school and are pretty much the definition of high school sweethearts. I am so excited to be a part of their special day!

Today, I'm meeting with a lovely bride-to-be Taylor to talk wedding flowers!
Taylor and I met at SCTCC, both of us working toward getting degrees in child and adult care and education. Taylor graduated this past May, and is now getting ready for her wedding next year!
I am so excited to be a part of Taylor and Coles special day!

Drove down to Koehler and Dramm in Minneapolis to pick up flowers for Andrea's wedding tomorrow! My back seat is backed with all kinds of floral goodies so I can get to work as soon as I get home!

I got to deliver this corsage and boutonniere to Kaitlyn yesterday for prom! I'm so glad she loved them! Thank you to Flowerama of St. Paul for providing the flowers and the workspace :)
