Some for now and some for later. Did you know you can cut the blooms on a peony before they open and save them in your refrigerator? One way to save this most beloved flower to use up to 3 months later. Another fun fact is that the peony plant can live and produce flowers for over 100 years!

For as far back as my memory takes me, lilacs are synonymous with spring. I remember biking to my small, rural grade school, and pretty much every farm had at least a row of them. So when we bought our first house that we still live in today, you can imagine the excitement upon the first spring when I realized I had my very own hedge of them!
