This caramel apple cider bomb is delicious when it’s made as intended with water. Not as much when your mom brain kicks in and you make it with milk 😆 Please do as I do say and not as I do!  here are “the child” cider bombs I’ve been teasing for the last few posts. Yesterday was national register to vote day. If only we could elect fictional characters this November 😆😢

Apparently this is the most recent family photo we have that doesn’t include me in a hospital gown 😆

Our little family has had so many exciting changes in the past year. Another baby girl was added to the ranks, we purchased the home we’ve rented since we moved to southern Utah & most recently daddy started his doctorate while still working full time. As a result, fitting in custom orders has been a challenge.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to give my creations the time required for the level of professionalism I’d like to maintain. For the time being I’ll no longer be taking on any new orders. If you’ve already booked with me I’m still looking forward to making your order!

I want to thank you all for your continued support of my little business, it means the world to me ❤️

I was honored this weekend to make an cake for sweet Raynie's 8th birthday. This little warrior has endured both open heart surgery and leukemia in her life. She and her family are so grateful she's doing well and was able to be baptized yesterday.

My family never gets my best effort when it comes to their cakes. I hate to admit we sometimes do store bought cupcakes because juggling orders and family life always leads to an over tired mommy. Many times I've felt like I was failing my kids. For my son's sixth birthday we were going to pull out all the stops. I planned on throwing a big party with all of his friends; and I made sure I didn't schedule any orders for the week of his birthday. Then the universe decided to throw a curveball. All of the plans for a big party at the park were laid aside. And you know what? He was just as happy celebrating with only his family as he would've been with a throng of kindergarteners and a perfect Pinterest worthy party. He loved his Plants vs. Zombies peashooter cake and cherry bomb macarons.

NEW VIDEO ALERT!

I had the pleasure of creating this Frozen II inspired cake by request of Icing Smiles, Inc. this past weekend.

Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. I'm happy to be one of their volunteer bakers.

Third picture is of sweet Lexi & Ellie, sister's who share the same birthday & varying degrees of cerebral palsy. Seeing their faces with their birthday cake made my month!

2019 Gingerbread House and

Instagram-GIVEAWAY- alert 🚨

Believe it or not I do read other books besides Harry Potter, but WWII historical fiction isn't a genre that lends well to jolly gingerbread scenes. I'm tickled pink as Professor Umbridge to have finished my Hogwarts at Christmas house. It will be on display through Friday Dec 13th. Extended hours Friday Dec, 6th & Dec, 13th until 8 P.M. Free milk and cookies while supplies last!

Saturday Dec 14th from 1-4 P.M. All houses will be auctioned at the holiday market at ancestor square. Proceeds will benefit

There are a total of 21 houses on display this year! To encourage all of our Southern Utah friends to get out & vote we'll be doing a little giveaway! "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

Last years Big Ben was the first time in my life making a "real" gingerbread house. I've decorated my fair share of pre-made & graham cracker houses, but this was my first attempt designing & baking my own structure. I'm an interior designer by trade & I have to admit I've missed drawing blueprints & plans. It seems only natural that I'd fall in love with something that combines my love of baking & architecture.

I'll be teaming up with St. George Dinosaur Discovery Center this year to create some more "magic". Follow St George Gingerbread Parade for details!

For those wondering why I've been MIA here is our newest addition. She's our third little squish & we couldn't be more in love 😍.

Pregnancy isn't my strong suit so I took time to relax and enjoy my children. The more our family grows the more I realize how fleeting this sweet stage is. Now that she's here all I want to do is cuddle her as much as possible!

I'll be posting some older work over the next few months & look forward to taking orders again after the holidays. Thank you all for your support & love ❤️
