Congratulations to Desert Hills own musician, Will Bangerter who performed in the Utah Jazz Honor Band at Utah Tech University on September 27, 2025.
Musicians must audition to be in the band and only a select few are chosen to perform. It is an intense weekend of learning 6 songs over the course of 8 hours of practicing together. They pulled it off beautifully in a performance on Saturday afternoon. What an accomplishment to be proud of!

Come one, come all!! It’s time for a percussion and Jazz jam. You won’t be disappointed in hearing students from 6-12th grade play percussion pieces they’ve been learning all year! It will be quite the entertainment and the last concert of the year for them. Don’t miss it!

Jazz performance will be held after the percussion concert. This is 8th- 12th grade Jazz performers. We’ve got some incredible talent you won’t want to miss!

The concert is free to all. Doors open 15 minutes before performances! Held at DHHS. Bring the whole family!!!

Congratulations to all the Solo and Ensemble students who gave it there all at Region and to those who made it to State! So proud of all the work you put into these events. Students work so hard and are brave enough to share that with the judges! Way to go!!

Percussion Wind Ensemble, and Concert band Percussion also both qualified for state. They played their state pieces this last weekend in Provo! Way to go you awesome percussionist.

You didn’t let the bus breaking down and stranding you on the side of the road get you down! Way to stay positive and have a great weekend working together.

Imagination Campus at Disneyland was quite an experience for the Desert Hills High School band. On the first day in Disneyland, we got to perform in California Adventure. The rest of the day was spent running around getting on as many rides as possible. The second day, our band got to attend a Disney Imagination Campus workshop with a Disney director. The band students played disney songs that were then put into Disney clips. It was quite an experience! Thank you for the wonderful memories that were created and for treating our students like stars!
