Happy first day of winter, everyone! As we embrace the magic of this frosty season, let’s take a moment to celebrate the amazing Winter Carnival we just wrapped up.

Last Saturday at the 225 Event Center, we had a fantastic turnout for the crowning of the Winter Carnival Prince, Princess, and their Royal Court. 🎉✨ The energy, smiles, and joy in the air reminded us why this tradition is so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, cheered, and supported the event. Here's to the return of the Prince and Princess—what a way to bring winter's enchantment back to our community!

What a wonderful celebration of winter! Join us Saturday!

🎉 The Winter Carnival Prince and Princess is Back! ❄️

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Winter Carnival in St. James, MN! This year, ten 1st graders were randomly selected after submitting their creative coloring pages, showcasing why they love winter. Their heartfelt responses included playing in the snow, building snowmen, and enjoying the magical Winter Carnival Lighted Parade.

📍 Join us at the 225 Event Center at 2 PM to witness the royal court receiving their sashes. Then, watch as two students are randomly crowned as the Winter Carnival Prince and Princess!

👑 Following the coronation, the newly crowned royalty will take photos with Santa and lead the Winter Carnival Parade aboard the St. James Fire Department’s vintage fire truck.

Let’s celebrate the charm and excitement of winter together! This is sure to be a memorable event for some of our youngest residents. See you there! ❄️✨

HO HO HOtdish is a new addition to St. James Chamber of Commerce-Discover St. James MN Winter Carnival. A fun morning for all ages includes photos with Santa, cookie decorating and face painting.
Hungry?
Make a free-will donation and enjoy mac and cheese, Schmidt's Christmas cookies and french bread.
Donations go to fund waterproof wheelchairs for the St James Splash pad.
