Need to make a post so you all know I am working hard on coming back. My health has been a super pain! I did manage to shoot twice, once this spring and once this summer - both were pretty rough but I did it. This is from spring and I will put up some more later. I hope everybody is doing well and thank you all for the messages and little notes, it really does mean a ton! I am hoping to be back soon!

This was such a fun little project! The beautiful gowns were provided by Whiteney at Little Dreamers Tutus. I am so grateful they were chosen to be in Designer Child Magazine for Easter. Show these kids some more love, they did so well and it was so much fun! Also thank you to the incredibly gracious Ashley Davis for Providing the beautiful bunnies and Melissa for adding a touch of art!

Even though I said I was not going to shoot newborns any more, I jumped at the chance to shoot twins! Aren't these guys adorable! Show them some love - they were the absolute best babies I have ever shot!

Wow, I got another honor and I want to thank all of the people I work with and the parents, I am truly blessed! I also need to thank Teen Couture Magazine for picking me as photographer of the month as well, again there are just so many talented photographers out there and since I do not normally shoot this age of kids this has been a real exploratory project in the making. Show these beauties some love - they deserve it! I cannot wait to get through this round of treatment and get back to work, I have some different ideas for things to shoot and cannot wait!

Show these beautiful girls and boy some love! These kids have for the most part been coming in and working with me while I am sick. They have been so patient and great to work with. I thank their parents as well for being so gracious! Also a huge thank you to Child Couture Magazine for the honor of being chosen as Photorapher of the Month. I do not take those things lightly, there are so many fantstic photographers out there that is truly an extreme honor to be amonst these people!

As many of you know I have been undergoing treatment again and have been under the weather. But, I have gotten in a few shoots for art pieces where I have felt well enough. These lift my soul when needed the most and have been very rewarding. I even think I might do more it has been so much fun. Kind of a learning curve but definitely worth it. Show these beauties some love - they were our first experiment and it was so much fun!

I was looking for something to use for magazine's when I found this. I have multiple folders of unedited photo's from the shootouts that I need to get done but this really struck me - that girl is a gem, but isn't she gorgeous! Those eyes are her real color and she is so stunning!

Well today is the first day I have worked in a few months, and boy oh boy, it felt both great and awful - the awful is how bad of shape I am in and the great is the art! Aren't these guys cute as buttons - will be adding tons more, just wanted to get one quick one up!

I feel completely honored and humbled to be counted amongst the other photographers that were named Photographers of the Year this year. Sorry it's been slow over here, still down sick. I feel so honored and humbled by this experience. Children are so resilient and never cease to amaze me. These children are such amazingly beautiful people both inside and out. I am also honored and humbled to get both the front and back cover of this special edition of Child Couture Magazine, but even more honored to have the privilege of working with these children whom are so magical! It was a completely awesome experience and such an honor! Congratulations to them and their families. If you know people who have children like this, make sure you take the time to tell their caregivers what a fantastic job they are doing and show them love!

I'm not quite sure why they would have deleted this but this post is funky on facebook so show the beautiful Makenna some love! This girl rocks it and she is so young, but she can compete with the older models all day long! This was shot at a workshop put on by Robin Brazill and Shauna Pearce,. One of the most creative people I have had the pleasure of meeting and her costuming and makeup is always so beautiful and unique!
