Is anyone else feeling this?! So excited, and yet spinning in circles trying to stay on top of all the things?!

We've been a little bit quiet around here lately, between multiple kids in sports, spending time as a family enjoying all the holiday things, and everything else that comes with everyday life, our schedule has been a bit full.

We're super excited for Christmas morning with our kids, and we're also excited about spending New Year's Eve with YOUR kids!!!

🎶 It's beginning to look a lot like 🎶.... Christmas?! 😮

That's right!!! 🎄🎁

We had a wild and fun week, running all over Mid-Michigan from Lansing to Ionia to Mount Pleasant!! We have done harvest parties, birthday parties, trunk or treats, and store grand reopenings!! We have felt so privileged to be a part of so many great events this week!! 😎

But, let's just talk for a second about how absolutely cool these carnival games look amongst these Christmas decorations!! 🤩

If you are hosting any type of holiday gathering this season, you're going to want to do yourself a favor and book a couple of these super fun games for your event!! You won't regret the fun that will be had!! 🥳

Well friends!! On this Monday, is it ok to just be real?! 🫣

We struggled a little bit this weekend! 😩 This weekend was our biggest one yet since we have taken over Backyard Carnival!! 😎 It was great!! We were so excited for all that we had in store! We spent all week cleaning inflatables, making lists, and planning our schedule. We were READY!!! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

But, prepared as we thought we were, we had some technical issues 😲....and those weren't factored into our schedule!! All of our preparedness flew out the window!! ✈️

What did this mean?! It meant we were late!! We were late for a very important event!! 😩 We did our best to maintain our cool and keep moving and make the best out of it, but it definitely left us feeling frustrated (with ourselves), flustered, and a little frantic. That friends, is the human side of business, and we worked really hard to make it right, and get on track.

However, our flustered, frustrated feelings quickly disappeared amidst the smiles and squeals once things started moving! 🤩

All in all, we had a great day on Saturday, having fun, playing games, meeting great people, and seeing all kinds of GREAT costumes!! 🎃

To any of our friends that were at the events that we were a part of this weekend, we hope that you will accept our apology for running behind, and we hope that you had a blast with us despite rocky beginnings!!

We had so much fun with all of you, and we hope that we get to catch up with you all again at our next event!! Rest assured that we learned a lot of lessons this weekend, and we will be better prepared for these big days in the future!!

We were too busy being present with all of the great people this weekend, we failed to take pictures, but we have taken a few from others to give you a tiny glance at the fun that we were able to have this weekend!

Backyard Carnival Friends,

The time of year has come when we will pack the inflatables away for the winter season. We are SO SAD because we have had as much fun as you have with the inflatables this fall! As of November 1st, our inflatables will begin hibernation (at least when it comes to outdoor events)!

Don't worry!! If you have already booked an inflatable with us for the month of October, your reservations are secured, and your inflatables will be the hit of your event!!

HOWEVER!!! If you have an indoor location such as a church/school gym or community center that would hold an inflatable indoors we gotcha covered!! And we're still planning on New Year's at noon again this year!!

Here in the off season we are looking for new ways to bring the fun element to all of your events!! Keep an eye out for what is in store!!

Meanwhile, check out our carnival games, concessions equipment, tables and chairs.

AND....Don't forget to start planning your events and getting your bookings secured for next season before your date is all booked up!!! Get in touch with us, and we'd be happy to help you plan out what is best for your event!!

I'm not sure about you, but I know for me, items like cotton candy, popcorn, and hot dogs bring about warm fuzzy memories of childhood!! Carnivals, cookouts, movies, and more!!

Did you know that Backyard Carnival carries concessions equipment and supplies including cotton candy, popcorn, and snowcone machines and supplies as well as a hot dog steamer?!

With the fun of the bounce houses, and the practicality of the tents, tables, and chairs, often times these concessions items become forgotten and overlooked!! Hidden gems in the Backyard Carnival lineup!

WELL, not today!! We want these great concessions items to shine like the stars that they are!!

So, here is what we are going to do!!! Pay close attention!! You will want to get in on this!!

Now through September 30th, any inflatable rental will allow you a concession/supply rental at HALF PRICE!!! This will be good for events running from now through October 31st.
