The Dog Mountain grounds are always open to people and their dogs. Artist, Stephen Huneck and his wife, Gwen, bought the property in 1995. When Stephen Huneck opened the Dog Chapel 25 years ago, he set aside one wall in the foyer for visitors to hang photos and notes to honor their departed dogs. He never anticipated the whole building would be covered with remembrances. The walls of the Chapel are truly a testament to the never-ending love between pets and their owners. ❤️

FALL HOURS!! Our fall hours start November 1. The Dog Chapel and Stephen Huneck Gallery at Dog Mountain are open Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Sunday from 10 am-5 pm. Both are closed on Wednesday. Our grounds are open every day from dawn until dusk.

Dog Mountain offers 150-acres for dogs to run, sniff, play, and make friends. Leashes are optional. Plan a visit with your pack!

Fall hours are from November 1 through December 31.
