107 South 6th Street was originally constructed in 1892 using the highest quality brick, lumber and iron. The first tenant of the building was Weigel's Furniture. In 1928 Sears, Roebuck & Co. Since that time, 107 South 6th Street has been home to Brady Mehornay Furniture, Hunter's Dime Store, Mattingly's, Eschelman's, and United Warehouse, all before 1977.

Located in Historic Downtown St Joseph, MO Venue, Studio, Canvas, Theatre, Living room... Our Vision: The Gallery is a place where people can come together as a community or private group and create art in all forms, whether it is music, drawing, painting, dance, photography, film, drama, or your own special event. And as that art is created, we will be the medium to share it with the city. ________________________________________________________________ 107 S. 6th St. was originally constructed in 1892 using the highest quality brick, lumber and iron, but there was almost no maintenance in recent decades. We have worked long and hard to bring back a vibrant space in our downtown. We have reclaimed the first floor (over 7000 square feet) for our uses.
