Day 6 of posting until I recap my 2024 season

September✨Weddings 15-20, lots of driving to amazing locations, and a tiny getaway while up north for a wedding. September has some of favorite light🤗 At this point I also started to spend a lot of time inside in front of my computer lol. The boys started 4s preschool and my husband started a new job(I also tossed him a camera at a wedding this month which was actually rather agreeable). Can’t forget to mention that last photo with my main second photographer, this was my first year frequently having an assistant at weddings and it has been so fun to sprinkle my galleries with a second perspective.

Day 4 of posting until I recap my 2024 season

I did beach minis this year, for the first time(maybe, ever?) Only one wedding and an intimate ceremony for July which was actually so nice because I got to spend time with my family and time in the sun. I also did a styled shoot with some photo friends at Journeyman’s Valpo location which is just 🤩

May🥰 I started my wedding season off with an intimate vineyard ceremony, second shooting for two super talented photographers, my first time at , a trip to Jamaica, our nephews first fiesta and a sweet little family photoshoot of our own. Peep that 3rd photo by the lovely

Posting daily until I recap 2024✨

January through April is my “off season” and is typically sprinkled with a few engagement sessions for couples getting married within the year and a few newborns. Just so happens that 2024 two of my clients welcomed twin girls within a few months of each other. Having twins of my own made those sessions so, so sweet.

I cannot believe we are FIVE days from Christmas!

Fall is an always such a whirlwind, but once December is here I can finally catch my breath and I am just so grateful and amazed that you are all here. Just know that if you have ever been in front of my camera I appreciate you more than you could ever imagine💕

I am taking the next two weeks off(mostly) and I am so excited to work on some things that I simply cannot get to during busy season over the winter.

I am almost fully booked for 2025 weddings(maybe taking 2-3 more weddings MAX) and have started booked for 2026🤯 Of course I always have lots of room for family/lifestyle sessions but as a reminder, reach out in the season before you are hoping for photos in.

Now back to cheesy Christmas movies✌🏼I seriously may have hit some sort of record with how many played in the background of editing this year🙃

I FINALLY CAUGHT HER✨

After missing them in May, I became obsessed with seeing the Northern Lights and last night was finally my chance to see her dance! I haven’t done any night sky photography since being in Montana 10 years ago🫣 but I think I did her justice. Plus got a glimpse of her with my naked eye which literally made me jump up and down.
