UPDATE: my granddaughter and I made clay hearts and rounds with embossed flowers. She painted the base with beet juice and I painted the embossed flowers with water colors.

From my garden to the tree.

I decided to decorate the tree and mantel for the rest of the winter with dried flowers from my garden. (90% of them at least I grew)

Love how it turned out 🩷🌼

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all!!

2024 has been a very busy and graceful year. With our growing family and the desire to be more "PRESENT" for each of our grandchildren, this Nana's floral business is going to be slowing down a little bit in 2025.

Weddings will be the main focus and because the cut flower gardens bring me and so many others great joy, I will continue to share that passion as well with the Flowers To-Go shed.

Events at the flower farm will be in private party style this year. (Contact me if you would like to have a private garden walk/floral class for your group or team building event)

Many people have a "word" for the new year, but I have a phrase, and it is "PRESENT, NOT PERFECT". I am looking forward to being more present in the lives of all my grandbabies, (and a few bonus ones), as I step back from my growing floral business a bit in 2025. So please understand when I say "I am unavailable", so I can be more available for my family.

Thank you all for your support of my floral business and I look forward to sharing my passion for flowers in 2025.

What a great Christmas party idea!!

Thank you Heritage Dental for having me teach "Wintergreen Centerpieces" to your staff.

We had lots of laughs together, but in the end everyone got to take home a pretty centerpiece for the holidays.

Wow, where has November gone? I can't believe we are starting the last week of this month already.

It's been a minute since I have shared what I am creating, because I have just been so busy filling orders.

I am almost caught up and have a couple grave blankets and monument saddles available for sale. They are all made to order in your choice of colors and delivery is available to all Gratiot County cemeteries.

These are real pumpkins filled with fresh flowers. The flowering kale is from my garden. And so are the sunflowers. It feels so good to be able to harvest a few flowers still.
