This is a ranunculus...delicate, layered flowers that come in all colors and varieties. Most ranunculus never get this big. At least none that I've ever seen.
Majority of cut flowers are grown in greenhouses, thousands of miles away, oftentimes using pesticides and unsustainable methods of farming.
Local grown flowers are more fragrant, definitely last longer, and are usually picked and cut a day or two before you get them, travelling only a short distance from field to vase.
Here at Adlay Floral, we try to source as much as we can from a local grower because this is the result! It not only helps out multiple small businesses along the way, but leaves you with the freshest flowers possible!
