I’ve been a bit quiet the last month, just trying to really enjoy this super short holiday season this year! But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been a little busy!

So, we’ll start by saying HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Dr. Dorothy and TEAM Chiropractic & Wellness Center for 25 years in business over in Monticello!

Chiropractic care is so hugely important for overall wellness and I know Dr. Dorothy and her Team have been a big asset to Monticello and other surrounding communities! I, personally, am very partial to her awesome massage therapist Liz! Her hands are like magic! Next time you need a massage, check her out!

Can we just talk about all the full circle moments lately!?
This beautiful 16 year old first came into my life so many years ago when she was just 1.5! I had the absolute pleasure of being her regular babysitter from then until I had my own kiddos 8 years ago! And now, here I am making balloon art for her 16th birthday! Still the same cute, but oh so sassy, girl I watched all those years!

This art from Saturday was a full circle moment for me! Last year I had the privilege to create, two garlands for a sweet mama’s baby showers and now over the weekend I was able to create beautiful art for her baby’s 1st birthday! It’s so crazy to me that I have officially been in business for over a year now! And look at how much my skill has grown! I am so thankful for the opportunities I have been given and the ability to take classes from professional balloon artist schools! It’s made such a major difference!

(Those pumpkin balloons did not come like that, they were hand made by me from standard balloons!)

It was a busy weekend last week! First a giant beer stein and then a giant themed eighth birthday party for my girl! We celebrated all decked out in their favorite eras, “13” tattoos, painting ceramics, pinning the guitars on Taylor, eye masks, mani pedis, movies with popcorn & candy, cake of course by & “the best sleepover ever!” Fun was had by all!

Are you a craft beer enthusiast? Want to give a 5k a try? Join the STMA Rotary Cork & Keg 5k for their annual fundraising event October 12th! Run (or walk) a 5K while stopping for craft beer tasting stations and simultaneously raising money for their community involvement projects like "Beds for Kids" and college scholarships!
Not only that, but there is also live music from 4-6 🎶

Not into a 5k? Just join for the beer tasting! And of course, taking pictures with my awesome balloon creations!

When I say this little boy gave me a hit of baby fever, I am so not lying. He was the absolute cutest!! He truly made me miss the chaos of baby-toddlerhood!

Congratulations Kirsten! And happy birthday to the fabulous Peekabooboo’s Play Café!
Kirsten, you had a vision and you made it happen! It’s been a lot of blood, sweat, and I’m sure tears over the last year+ but you made it!! Now, on to tackle the next year or five! You have made such a huge impact on our community, but especially the parents of young kiddos! Not only with providing a fun, safe space for kids to play, learn & explore, (especially during icky weather) but also, you are always so happy to greet every person that comes in with a huge smile and usually a hug too! You are so willing to listen and support any human that walks through those doors, and I am certain that has made a huge impact on many mamas especially!
Man, do I wish you had opened sooner! I would have probably lived there when my kids were little, but I am so happy I get to know you! Keep being the amazing person you are! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for you next!
Fun fact, it’s also sort of a happy birthday to E4 Balloons & Party Decor! Kirsten was one of my first paid jobs! She and Alex Martin really gave me the push I needed to start my small biz after 6 years of thinking about it and being encouraged to do so by all those around me! It’s been a lot of learning and growth over the last year, and I still have so much room to learn, grow & improve! I’m here for it!
