BIG ARRIVAL HERE AT CHESAPEAKE SEAFOOD CATERERS TODAY! We have officially received our 2020 Mobi mobile wood fired pizza oven after six months of waiting. This oven will be ready in the coming weeks to serve parties up to 150 people.

A little rain can't take away our sunshine! 350 bags out the door and lots of people to thank today:

Chesapeake Seafood Caterers and Glenn Higgins for a box truck that delivered CarePacks to Dobson and kept bags dry in the torrential rain

Earth Data Incorporated for the covered trailer that delivered CarePacks to EMS and kept them dry, and Ted's help in distributing bags

Sodexo and Schmidt Baking Co for donating English muffins that went home in CarePacks

ALL the volunteers who drove, delivered, handed out meals, filled in meal count sheets and kept smiling even when they were soggy.

and finally, all the donors who made it possible for our school site volunteers to enjoy hot coffee and fresh bagels from the Bāgery on this dreary morning, delivered by our Avalon Staff friends.

This weekend we had the pleasure of serving thousands of people all over Maryland and D.C. We also had the honor to receive this amazing citation from our Governor. Chesapeake Seafood Caterers is a family run business that takes pride in everything we do. A big thanks to our teams who really busted their butts this weekend to make sure everything went off without one hiccup! Great jobs guys we couldn’t do it without you. This is why we are #1 in the Seafood catering world.

Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and I always have a great time at the Maryland Association of Counties summer conference crab feast! This evening, it was a pleasure to present Glenn and Adam Higgins and the Chesapeake Seafood Caterers team with an official Governor's citation recognizing their hard work to make this annual event possible!
