Hello all! I feel like it’s time for a formal re-introduction!

I’m Hannah!.. amongst other creative names - not limited to
: Miss Enge, Grace, Ray Ray, Stubba, etc. All which are dear and sacred to me.
In all honesty, I feel like I’ve fell short & failed with my floral venture… at least through my social media presence. Through the screen I’ve been the epitome of *crickets chirping*. While I’m reality, I’ve been curating the life I’ve always wanted and never felt pressured to share via social media.
I went through a LOW point over a year ago. Many were unaware, because of the mask I held. It’s been a journey since. Not only am I a creative florist, I am also a student studying Neuroscience and Psychology, a nanny, an adventurer (through my creative-music-community), and someone constantly exploring expressive routes (currently, I like to make repurposed necklaces after my lectures). It’s been a up-and-down journey
I feel that I am living more presently now than ever. Before, I was consumed with my image through our screens and if I was relatable or likable or not. The tone of my goals for the upcoming year is to be honest, present, and to create through the best of my visions.

Love is one of the most special gifts that we are able to experience in this life. Sometimes words do not provide justice for the joy each person sparks within us. Though, flowers usually speak when words cannot speak for themselves.
One of Shed Floral’s first loves was Silas and Majorie Hanson, the owner’s great grandfather and great grandmother. This Valentine’s Day is in honor of each of them by featuring glassware and vintage cards inspired by the antiques they loved and cherished within their antique shop, The Shed.

Few of you know the face behind this lil floral dreamy reality of mine so I thought a formal introduction is due & a big thanks to everyone who has supported through the past 2 years!

• I’m Hannah Enge, originally from Thief River Falls, Minnesota
• 23 years-old & currently at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience & Psychology🧠
• I freelance for other amazing florists when I’m not working on my own projects
• Shed Floral specializes in moments/events of all sizes - weekly deliveries are also a special love of ours 🌷
• The delivery Co-Pilot is Ophelia, my Miniature Long-haired Dachshund (she loves to say hi!).
• In my free time, you can find me thrifting and going to estate sales ✨ the love of antiques is a family trait & something that is incorporated into our designs
• Prior to florals, I’ve worked in a greenhouse, genomic research lab, server in downtown Minneapolis, & at a holistic/integrative health center

Hello everyone!!

The past couple years of owning Shed Floral, has been an absolute whirlwind and I am so thankful to everyone that trusts us to create unique floral experiences for you all. I never imagined that I would one day have a magazine article written about my floral studio?! Very humbled & jumping around like a goofball with so much excitement over here!

✨🌞 Not every arrangement made reflects joy…recently, many have reflected loss, sorrow, and pain. I feel it too, I read every word on the inscription and each note attached. My heart sinks, I typically cry, and my prayers extends to each family.
I am humbled and grounded by the trust your loved ones have in me to arrange a floral piece that aims to bring light and love during adversity. To those that have received an arrangement from Shed Floral these past couple weeks, know you are in my prayers and I hope the sun will shine on you very soon in the future.

Pray for Ukraine 🇺🇦
Everyone’s heart is heavy with the ongoing news and devastation of Ukraine & its citizens. Hearts are even heavier for those that know individuals and have loved ones in the country.
Igor kim, his wife, and young child are in Ukraine witnessing the loss in-front of them…losing their home and belongings. In a video Igor shared of them walking…you see tanks and a dead solider on the ground, everything around them in rubble.
I know Igor from him working on a manure pumping team in Murdock, MN - I cooked meals every week for the team and connected with each member. When I say they are the HARDEST working men you know, believe it. 12 hour days, 6 days a week, in close-to freezing weather, to aid local dairies in draining the lagoons & depositing manure (liquid gold fertilizer) into the ground for local farmers. He has also continued to come back for several years!
Yet despite all the negativity, Igor & his family hold onto gratitude and hope (please look at the last text photo). I am in awe and a constant puddle from crying.
I ask each of you to take the time to pray. Pray for Ukraine. Pray for Igor & his family. Pray for the mothers and children. Pray for the innocent. Pray for Peace.
