We’re excited to share this year’s keynote speaker for Above the Glass, Emily Calandrelli, an MIT-engineer turned Emmy-nominated science TV host and Astronaut.

Emily is also a professional speaker who focuses on science, space exploration, and women in STEM. With a background in engineering, Emily hosts Netflix series Emily’s Wonder Lab, has been featured on Bill Nye Saves the World, and is the author of the picture book Reach for the Stars. Known as The Space Gal, Emily is passionate about inspiring women and young girls in science and sharing stories of how she balances her career and personal identity as a mother, activist, engineer, and woman.
