Students Dom Larson, Will Sorg, and Gavia Yount have spent the semester writing original adaptations of classic texts under the supervision of visiting faculty, Matt Trucano. They will perform excerpts of their work December 8-10 in the Black Box Theatre.

The Department of Theatre and Dance congratulates dance major, Emma Forsyth, for having been named a Gerhard T. Alexis Scholar for academic year 2023-24!

This prestigious award was endowed by a gift from Jane and H. Bradford Thompson and is presented to the junior students who have achieved the highest academic record.

Emma's choreography is being featured this weekend in Emerge: The Choreographers' Gallery. Tonight is sold out, but there are still tickets available for tomorrow's 8pm performance and Sunday's 2 pm performance. Tickets at gustavustickets.com

A new play inspired by Ovid and created by the writers-in-residence at the Globe Theatre. In this contemporary revisioning of Ovid’s epic, the stories of bodies transformed take center stage in a celebration of resilience and imagination. A roller coaster of whimsical and terrifying events retold with stripped-back simplicity and joy, highlighting the power of the body as a site for transformation and change.
