Our last wedding film of 2024 is here! And what an amazing year it was. Our couples and their wedding days were just so much fun to capture and it was a year where I felt just so inspired to go outside of the box to create their films. Jenny and Ryan's day was no exception and was the BEST way to end our year.

Jenny and Ryan's wedding was held at The Lake at Knotting Hills and it was our first time filming at the venue. We cannot wait to be back! It was so beautiful and was the perfect Fall backdrop for their day. What I loved the most about filming their wedding was that they made their day so personal. They read letters to one another at their first look, they had Jenny's brother officiate their wedding day (and he told their story so well!), they took turns reading their vows back and forth (which I've never seen before), and they just had a good time. Like the whole day was just relaxed and the two never stopped laughing and smiling.

"This was around the same time that Judge and Anise met in Mrs. Leonard's math class. Anise so kindly let Judge set next to her and thus the middle school romance began."

Wow! Where do I even start with Anise and Judge's wedding day? It had everything and more and was truly a day we will never forget as videographers. First off, how sweet are they? When they told us they were writing letters and doing private first vows, I was excited to hear more about them and their story. And it's a love story that really spans from middle school crushes to saying "I do" on their wedding day.

Anise and Judge not only were always smiling and laughing with one another but also were surrounded by smiles and laughter with their family and friends. So I really wanted their film to feel, well, fun! I loved Anise's sister's speech and how she sang Satisfied from Hamilton -- her favorite musical. Of course I had to include that! And then everyone's reactions after. Their day was just filled with all of those moments and it was so fun getting to piece together their film to really feel like you're reliving the day as you watch it.

"But I promise you that the story of how these two amazing people met is arguably the best thing that happened in 2020."

Looking back at our year, all of our couples have had the sweetest and most unique stories! Jenny and Ryan were no exception. Narrated by Jenny's brother, who officiated their wedding, the two met back in 2020 through a dating app. Jenny said that their first date was at Urban Chestnut, where they "talked for 3 hours. And then saw each other every day since."

On their wedding day, you could totally tell that these two were meant for one another. And it was so apparent with the laughs, smiles, and looks of adoration both Jenny and Ryan had. Also, as a videographer, I love when friends and family are as excited for a day as the couple is! Jenny and Ryan had an amazing support team surrounding them, so happy to be celebrating them.

"However, adventure isn't what got you here. Adventure made it exciting and gave some great stories, but love is why we're standing here."

I am so excited to be posting this film! Earlier this year, we originally booked Cassi and Derrick for their wedding that was going to be taking place locally but then soon after, Cassi reached out and asked, "Could you travel to South Carolina instead?" Without a doubt, I said yes!

Their wedding day out in South Carolina at The Pretty Place Chapel was such a dream day. From their first look at an outlook to their ceremony with the mountains and rolling hills as their backdrop, it was the most perfect setting for the two. When creating their film, I wanted to use as much of the destination as I could while still including personal touches and moments throughout their day that made their film feel like them -- such as their personalized details, moments with all of their family and friends, and also one of my favorite things to capture was of them saving a seat for Derrick's father.

The Kniepmanns ✨

And just like that -- our 2024 season has come to an end! We couldn't have asked for a better way to end our wedding season than with Jenny and Ryan at their stunning Fall day at The Lake at Knotting Hills Wedding Venue & Resort. After calling for rain all week, their day ended up without a single cloud in the sky! It was perfect!

While capturing the two, the love Jenny and Ryan had for one another was so apparent. Anytime I started filming, they both had the biggest smiles on their faces and were constantly laughing. It was so sweet to capture! We filmed so many wonderful moments from their day and I seriously cannot wait to get started on their film. I mean just from the audio we recorded alone -- it's going to be so much fun to put together!

Missouri weather: 80+ degrees in late October 🥵

October has been so busy here with editing, going on our babymoon, and having our baby shower this past weekend. It's crazy that the month is almost over!

We have one wedding left to film for the 2024 season, at the beautiful Knotting Hills Wedding Venue & Resort, and are starting to book into 2025! Do you remember the 21st night of September? 🎶

Abby and Tommy's wedding day was truly unforgettable! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding to film and a couple to work with. From the moment we arrived at The Hilton to capture getting ready footage to the end of the night saying our goodbyes on the packed dance floor -- it was such a great day!

When I was putting together their trailer, I wanted to open it with the song that opened their dance floor. It was so much fun to film, with Abby and Tommy in the middle, surrounded by all of their family and friends. Just the pure joy of celebrating their love and the story that got them to that very moment. I absolutely loved capturing it! And that's how their whole day was -- getting all of the moments as they happened and the raw emotion behind them. I am so excited to get started on their film!

"I just want to thank you for these last 8 years and over 15 years of friendship."

I absolutely love Anise and Judge's story! From friendship to dating to promise rings for one another to marriage. It's so sweet seeing two people that have been together for a while take that next step in their relationship.

Anise and Judge's wedding day was held on a gorgeous September day at Pine Hollow Farms. Their day was jam-packed with so many wonderful things to capture including their private vows to one another, an emotional first look with Anise and her dad, their speeches by their loved ones (which included singing Satisfied from Hamilton), and of course their packed dance floor once their reception got started.

Every time we were filming the two, we didn't have to direct much but just capture them candidly and in the moment. And every time we started recording, it was perfect! The two were never not smiling or laughing. You could just feel the love watching it back on our monitors. Those are my most favorite moments to capture as a videographer!

"When I asked Dru what he loved about Alicia, he said...everything!"

I mean, swoon-worthy right? I had to open up Alicia and Dru's film with that line from their ceremony. It honestly describes both Alicia and Dru perfectly. They were that couple that you just see the love between the two of them!

Their wedding day was the perfect way to close out our June weddings. Held at a venue we had been so excited to film at for the first time, Bogey Hills Country Club, their wedding day had it all. Gorgeous details everywhere you looked, so many wonderful moments that we got to capture -- including their letters to one another, Alicia's first look with her dad (so sweet!), the prettiest sunset session with them -- and of course their fun reception! We loved everything about their day.

Let me tell you, Abby and Tommy sure know how to throw a party! Their wedding day at both St. Anthony of Padua and the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac was such a dream. It was a day full of so much love and adoration between the two of them as well as all of their loved ones.

From the gorgeous details we captured, to their super sweet first look and ceremony at the same church Abby's parents got married, to the amazing reception complete with Dr. Zhivegas as the entertainment -- it was such a great day! Here's just a little snippet of their footage

"Today as we witness the union of your hearts, it is a testament to the blessing that God has stowed upon the two of you by bringing you together."

I absolutely loved the theme of togetherness that Sydney and Jacob's officiant used during their ceremony. How they were brought together in high school (through a last minute prom date) to navigating life and its challenges together to now committing to marriage together -- it so perfectly summed up their relationship and the start of the next chapter in their lives!

Sydney and Jacob's wedding was held at both the gorgeous Pleasant Hill Chapel and Chandler Hill Vineyards. The weather was beautiful, the details were gorgeous (and I loved how many details there were to capture!), and I loved how many authentic, raw moments we got to film. From the getting ready in the morning to their private first look and vow reading and then just capturing all of their family and friends surrounding them with so much love -- it was so much fun to film.

Perfect Fall-like weather, the best venue, the most amazing moments, and of course the sweetest couple! Anise and Judge's wedding day at Pine Hollow Farms was seriously the best. These September weddings are truly spoiling us this year!

One thing about Anise and Judge is that you will never, ever doubt their love for one another. It was so apparent every second of their day! The two were just beaming all day and it was so much fun to capture. From the very beginning of the day until our goodbyes in the evening, Sydney and Jacob's wedding was perfection! We could not have asked for a better day and couple to work with with. Held at both Pleasant Hill Chapel and Chandler Hill Vineyards, their wedding day was so beautiful and full of just so much love!

We seriously captured so much! I mean our SD cards were almost maxed out with how many wonderful moments and details we filmed. It was hard to just make this little sneak peek! I cannot wait to get started on their film. It's going to be such a good one.

Our first wedding film of 2024 is here! Abby and Christopher's day at both St. James the Greater and The Chase Park Plaza was truly a dream. From the moment we started the day until our goodbyes in the evening, we really couldn't have asked for a better wedding day to kick off our season. One of the things that really set their wedding apart was how much of them that they incorporated throughout. It was a day really just about the two of them, their love, and their story. Their letters, wonderful reception toasts, and their beautiful ceremony told their story perfectly. But it was also the love that was just so obvious between Abby and Christopher as well as from their family and friends that made their day so special.
