The Toys for Kids Toy Drive has begun! Our Donation Drive runs from Tuesday, November 5th through Thursday, December 19th. You may drop off NEW, unwrapped gifts in the Executive Offices, Club Lobby, Captain's Lounge, and Racquet Center in the Donation Bins wrapped in holiday paper!

We will once again be assisting the Lealman fire districts with their efforts in helping needy families in the community by donating to Toys for Kids! Please do not wrap the gifts. Our local firemen will personally wrap the gifts and delivery them. We are looking for gifts ages Newborn to 17 years old.

🎁Suggested Donations include, but not limited to:
Newborn Toys, Baby Dolls, Arts & Crafts, Legos,
Perfume, Wallets, Purses, Sporting Equipment, Skateboards, Helmets

The last 13 years have been spent here with us at Isla Del Sol, and we are are immensely grateful for her warmth, commitment, and the lasting connections she’s fostered within our club. After serving in the military, Chef Dan trained at the New York Restaurant School. He has worked in prestigious restaurants and hotels across the country, including New York City, the Hamptons, Montauk, California, and Vermont. He also has extensive experience in the club industry, having served as Chef de Partie at the Colony Club in Manhattan for 12 years.

Chef Dan joined Isla in 2019 as Sous Chef with a focus on catering events. Through his contributions, Isla has won 9 awards from WeddingWire, The Knot, and Zola – each citing high marks for the cuisine.

Chef Dan's culinary style is rooted in classic French techniques, with a contemporary American twist. He is committed to using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create fresh and flavorful dishes.

Since taking on the role of Executive Chef six weeks ago, Chef Dan has elevated the dining experience at Isla Del Sol. We have transitioned to a quarterly menu revision cycle tied to the seasons, allowing Chef Dan to highlight seasonal dishes while retaining our best-selling classic dishes and salads. Additionally, Chef Dan has introduced Small Plates, tapas-sized portions with innovative cooking techniques that showcase fresh ingredients and creative presentations. These items are are available in the Grille Room and the Bayside Grille.

These are exciting times in the world of Food & Beverage at Isla Del Sol, and we invite you to come experience the difference for yourself.

The board has put together a program to raise funds for the benefit of our employees who have been significantly impacted by Hurricanes Helene and/or Milton. It is not clear what the exact needs are, but we know that many employees are living in short term housing and are struggling. At the same time, they have responded to the Club's extraordinary needs as we try to recover.

We ask that each member consider making a gift by check made out to Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club, with a note designating the funds to go towards the Isla Employee Relief Fund. Please drop checks off at the Front Desk. You may also donate through your member account. Please contact our Controller, Jesse Carr, at [email protected] to make arrangements.

We are excited to announce that the golf course is open!!! The Pro Shop is open today to take your reservations at 727-864-2417, or you can easily book your tee times through the Isla Del Sol app.

Please note that while we continue to clean up after the hurricanes, there are still a few trees down on the course. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to fully restore the course.

A huge thank you goes out to our incredible Greens Crew and Pro Shop staff for all their hard work and dedication during the recovery process. We look forward to seeing you back on the course!

We wanted to let you know our dining hours for this week as we continue with recovery efforts following the recent hurricanes. The Grille Room will be open for lunch this Friday and for dinner both Wednesday and Friday with live music and some delicious specials.

Wednesday enjoy Bourbon Glazed Salmon served with broccoli carrot medley and wild rice for $32++ and Homestyle Lonnie's Meatloaf, house made with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans for just $19++.

Then come back Friday night for Crispy Skin Red Snapper with caper salsa, lemon butter, and orzo pilaf. Just $32++. And in case you missed it Wednesday and need some great comfort food, get Homestyle Lonnie's Meatloaf for $19++.

We will reopen for regular dinner service in the Grille Room this Friday, October 18th featuring our new Fall menu selections of seasonal entrees and small plates.

Chef Dan will feature a Home Style special: Country Fried Steak and Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, and Broccoli for $19. And for your entertainment, the Royz Band will perform from 6:30PM - 9PM.

We will also offer Sunday Breakfast Buffet from 10AM to 1PM.

We are pleased to announce that the Bayside Grille will reopen today, October 14th, from 11AM to 8PM! After cleaning up and restocking following Hurricane Milton, we are ready to welcome you back for a wonderful dining experience.

Please note that Bogie's on the Bay and the pool will remain closed for now due to damage sustained during Hurricane Helene. We will keep you updated on their reopening timelines.

We hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe following the impact of Hurricane Milton. Our thoughts are with everyone affected. We are currently assessing the damage done by Hurricane Milton, which was significant, especially since it came so recently after Hurricane Helene. Rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to repair and restore the Club's facilities as quickly as possible.

We are closely monitoring Hurricane Milton, which has been upgraded to a Category 5 storm. Currently, Zones A, B, and C in Pinellas County are under a mandatory evacuation.

Your safety is our top priority. Please ensure you take all necessary precautions and follow the guidance of local authorities.

CLUB CLOSURE

All areas of the club will be closed through Thursday, October 10th. All Wednesday dinner reservations are cancelled. Wednesday's Town Hall meeting is postponed. We will notify members when it is rescheduled.

After the storm, our staff will return to the club to assess any damage. We will provide updates on the reopening schedule as soon as possible.
