I specialize in Weddings, Labor & Delivery/Birth, and Family Portraits. What I believe to be behind a lot of my inspiration when capturing moments is my desire to commune with people, to deeply connect, and to provoke playful, intimate, and natural reactions from those behind my lens.

Some thoughts from this mornings podcast:

Events are going to unfold, some are going to be comfortable some are going to be uncomfortable. I choose to honor reality, I honor the right to learn from different experiences that unfold. I will learn to find a way to be open and receptive to the reality of life that is coming into me.

This is self-growth.

Honor, accept and respect reality, then your being will expand.

When we have experiences we don’t enjoy, we push it away saying “I don’t want to experience this” and it’s stored inside, things that bothered you, sorted inside, unresolved. Now you have to adjust your life to avoid reminders of those experiences so that you don’t have disturbance in your life. Then you try to control the life around you, so that the stuff inside isn’t disturbed

But friends, I come to you in love as I learn I believe all deserve to learn (that are seeking)

I’m trying to maintain a rule, if it’s not happening outside, it’s not happening inside. I am going to let this pass through, to finish, so I don’t have to carry it with me. The reality is I have allowed the mess inside, it’s no one else’s responsibility to clean me up, my inside up.

I can make something beautiful out of every moment of my life…

IF I’m beautiful inside… but if I’m problemed inside, I can make a mess out of every single moment of my life.

The time between your birth and your death is a gift, let us take charge of the stuff inside, instead of trying to control all the variables in our reality.

Today may we rise with giggles, with joy, with child-like awareness 🌞🌸

From the Hernandez Family “My family, and I were visiting Florida from Colorado and I found Dani’s photography page on Instagram. I loved her work and reached out. She replied quickly and we were able to get a family session scheduled. When we arrived to our spot, which was gorgeous, Dani was extremely warm and friendly and made us all feel so comfortable! She was detail oriented and did great job with our kids and the three different families. She delivered our pictures quickly and they are so beautiful. My family and I will cherish these images forever!”

Learning to empower from a place of empowerment has been humbling.

To fill one’s own cup full of love, self-confidence, grace, gentleness, and gratitude, consistently, BEFORE pouring out to others has been a consistent lesson for me this year.

I haven’t always succeeded, and the result has been burnout, physical fatigue, and floods of emotions that say I am failing.

Then there’s that beautiful voice that whispers, but wait, look at all the magic around you, look at your life, the countless amounts of blessings that find you, let’s pour out some love into this body, my body, my home, my family, because some days we win the battles in our heads and some days we don’t.

I am so lucky to be learning these lessons, whether I am empowering 4 humans to better love themselves, or 40, to me it makes no difference.

Thank you ladies for this beautiful reminder 🫠🔥

Hi my name is Magnum,

My humans say my time has almost come to an end, they love me so much they brought me to the beach and met this lady with this big circle thing that stared at me the whole time. This lady even gave me treats! And I didn’t have to do anything at all!!! How lucky am I!

I feel happy and loved knowing my humans have loved me through this life. It’s been a gift to love them too!
