Still spinning from the weekend.

I worked my highest grossing nonprofit event to date - in four hours, 350 people came together to raise $750,000 for a school for underserved kiddos in South St. Pete.

It’s easy to get discouraged when the world feels as heavy as it does lately. But, here’s your reminder, that when we come together, BIG things can happen. I challenge you to find a mission that pulls at your heart - donate, volunteer, email the staff that you appreciate them (nonprofit work can often be so stressful and thankless and an “I see you and appreciate you” keeps them motivated to do the good work). I encourage you to find a way to get involved because every little thing adds up to big things when serving others. Together is when we move mountains.

You may not be able to give all the good that the world needs, but the world deserves all the good you can do.

This two-day conference covered crypto, mail theft, mortgage fraud and more for Florida’s finest. I’ve never felt safer with 300 Secret Service Members, FBI Agents, Law Enforcement in the room😂

We heard from some incredible agents, but also FBI’s ‘Most Wanted’ and the infamous con-catcher,

This was one of those events where I knew we had great content, but was not expecting my mind to be blown the whole time. White-collar / financial scams are getting CRAZY, y’all.

Over 1,000 people attended the Tampa Bay Tech PoweredUp event at Mahaffey Theater to learn from such impressive industry leaders, such as Amazon Web Services, the creator of Alexa, top military personnel, the Tampa Bay Rays DJ and more.

I learn something at every event, but this one was off the charts. Fun Fact: Alexa was named after the creator's sister 🤯

Truth bomb: You can probably find an event planner for your fundraiser for less than we charge. But, every organization has a story to tell and this is where I thrive. I work hand-in-hand on all event components, including scripting and producing videos. From videos like this to keynote speeches and mission moments, we give detail to every element, so that your impact is felt and donors are compelled to give. The moment the room found out they raised half a million dollars for kids and young adults with neurodiversity 🥺 The coolest thing about this event is that this isn’t a room full of long-term supporters and donors. These individuals came from all over the nation for their work conference that happens to include a charity night supporting a nonprofit in the host city. I am so blown away by the generosity of @citywidefacilitysolutions and their team. The world would be such a different place if all companies followed their lead with intentional philanthropy like this. I was created to create. Whether it’s events, email campaigns, or a social media post, I thrive and am totally in my element when I’m designing. My goal in life is to leave something a little more jaw-dropping than how I found it.

I am also the truest definition of an extrovert – my energy comes from being around others, which is where my passion for events came from. I believe in truly getting to know my clients and connecting over networking. All of my event vendors, clients and past employers have become friends, which is a huge part in why our events are so successful. Yes, Sloan Design is just me – but you’re getting the best network of event professionals in the industry too.

Along with events, I help small businesses with digital marketing campaigns. I first became captivated by social media from the Wendy’s Twitter account – seriously, it was a game changer for social media. But my love for digital and social campaigns grew during my time at IRONMAN®, when I worked on campaigns with brands like Gatorade Endurance, Westin hotels and the global bike partner, Ventum.
