We LOVE our houseplants 🪴Orchids (also known as Phalaenopsis) make great indoor houseplants because they are low maintenance. Orchids are essentially air plants. They absorb their nutrients through their leaves and roots. They prefer humidity and can live in 85% shade. We sell single stem orchids, double stems, and petite orchids. Call ahead if you need something grand like our friend above 👆

Remember to minimize your water use while our processing plant in the Northeast is still down. Our friends who live in this area are unable to flush their toilets, shower, etc. and we don't want to stress the system anymore. Flower shops use a good bit of water, so we're stepping down today. Existing orders will be delivered.

🐱At Green Bench Flowers we understand how important it is to brighten a room and still keep it safe for our curious fur babies 🐶There are a number of edible flowers for humans and our pets. Some easy ones to remember are Roses, Sunflowers and Orchids. Some of the more unique lining flowers (pictured above) are Snapdragons, Veronica, Lisianthus and Liatris. Like anything in this world overconsumption can cause distress in the body. Although these flowers are safe it’s vital to do personal research. We recommend ASPCA, Daily Titan, Preventive Vet and other Veterinary sites. Come in and build your own bouquet! 💐

Happy Independence Day! This holiday reminds us that with some ink and paper our forefathers were able to etch out the American Dream.
