Table set up is a big part of the work on a wedding day. There are a lot of details that go into setting up your tables and a lot of things to be considered based on catering style and other wedding details!
Often times it is the catering team that is setting the table rentals. Our team usually handles menus, table numbers, place cards, etc…
If you are setting your own tables here are some things to know!
- Flatware gets laid alphabetically. Fork, knife, spoon. The knife blade faces in towards the plate.
- Water goblets go above the plate to the right.
- There are many ways to fold napkins, so be sure to decide ahead of time how you want your napkins placed.
- Table numbers should be facing whatever direction guests are entering from.
