We had a and for our neck of the woods this amount of snow is impressive and it wasn’t wet snow either! Big ol powdery flakes!

So I’ve never planted poppies but had some breadseed poppy seeds that I bought and I’ve seen all these people plant them in the snow like this and I really wanted to try it! There are also some frozen in ice cubes in the same bed (covered by snow now but still frozen 🥶) We shall see!

And then for our snowman!! It is ‘s first one and he loves him!

A bit behind on this but oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️ are in for their pre-soak hope to plant them into trays in a day or two. Imagin...

Pictured is a clump of Cornell Bronze and then two close ups of eyes (the little things to look for when dividing tubers.

Dahlia Dividing tips for the day:
1. Sanitize your tools and continuously do so for each clump of tubers.
2. Have a small pair of snips for the intricate work and big ones for the bigger cuts and splits. We use a Hercules BrushlessCordless Compact Reciprocating Saw!
3. Label! If you are like me you lose track so I have trays that each variety gets divided into with their label from out in the field.

Hi #flowerfriends I’ve been missing on here for a bit! Our family had a wonderful vacation in California at #Legoland and #Disneyland and I wanted to share a couple photos here 🥰 #christmas at these parks was magical and it was lovely to still be able to see flowers in bloom ❤️ I saw #poinsettias planted in the ground 😱 and I saw #birdofparadise which is a #bucketlist plant for me that I’ve always wanted to see 🤩
