time here for us!!! The time of year where I seriously question my life choices and my eyewear prescription 🤣

Pictured is a clump of Cornell Bronze and then two close ups of eyes (the little things to look for when dividing tubers.

Dahlia Dividing tips for the day:
1. Sanitize your tools and continuously do so for each clump of tubers.
2. Have a small pair of snips for the intricate work and big ones for the bigger cuts and splits. We use a Hercules BrushlessCordless Compact Reciprocating Saw!
3. Label! If you are like me you lose track so I have trays that each variety gets divided into with their label from out in the field.

Another mess of photo drop today!!

Seeing as the weather is gross 🥶 🌧️ it’s very difficult to open the flower truck but I still have flowers and am taking orders for just dm me if you are interested!

The dried flower pumpkins make great or and they last a very long time because the pumpkins are still completely in tact.

The great is DONE!! Everybody worked so hard to get it done in one day and now none of us can move 🤣

There are so many tubers we ran out of crates and had to get creative. Now to let them dry out just a bit and we’ll get down to dividing!

All the flowers are grown and dried by me and the pumpkins are fully in tact so they last a very long time.

It’s here at the farm!! Going out the door today are Kelvin Mandarin, Kelvin Tattoo and Saffina.

have been around a long time, they were first cultivated in China over 2,000 years ago and reached America in the end of the 18th century. Now most of the mums you can buy as a are not from America, usually from South American countries due to more favorable weather conditions. But they are making a comeback here in the states and we are here for it!

Did you know their vase life is about 14days!! And they dry well to boot.

I will have from the farm during the month of November while supplies last. They are the perfect fall flower!

Year 2
#1 is such a vibrant fuschia color and us very productive
#2 has a sweet hint of pink and is a slightly large bloom
#3 has fluffy petals like
#4 is a really neat form and a hint of lavender earlier in the season
#5 I never saw last year but has really fun petals!
#6 is not going to move on to next year but she is so very TALL !!!

Scout the was out harvesting with me and he had a blast chasing bugs and cats and diving through the mess of flowers😂

I imagine at his eye level this place is like a jungle.

Hi #flowerfriends I’ve been missing on here for a bit! Our family had a wonderful vacation in California at #Legoland and #Disneyland and I wanted to share a couple photos here 🥰 #christmas at these parks was magical and it was lovely to still be able to see flowers in bloom ❤️ I saw #poinsettias planted in the ground 😱 and I saw #birdofparadise which is a #bucketlist plant for me that I’ve always wanted to see 🤩
