We believe performance is about connection not perfection.

Do you ever stop yourself from sharing because you don’t think that what you have prepared is perfect? Or because you don’t think it measures up to an imaginary standard you’ve created for yourself?

This is a reminder that we do these Open Mics to connect with each other and to share what’s real and true to you. Perfection not included.

Come on out on 6/25 and show up just as you are. We’ll have snacks and smiles waiting. 💫

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday! 😍

It was such a blast being together again. Seeing your faces and hearing you perform is why we do this and makes it all more than worth it.

If you missed it, we are hopeful that we will be able to get together again in October. Until then, keep doing your thing! 🤩

We. Are. Back. 🥳🎉

So excited to announce a backyard open mic night August 7th from 7-9 pm.

Share all those songs you’ve been singing in the shower, stand up bits you’ve been performing for your family, monologues and poetry you’ve been mulling over and everything in between. All levels and types of performance are welcome. Or come out to watch and support! 🤩

We will provide a cozy environment and a stage with a mic and guitar if you happen to need one. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and any food or drinks you’d like for the night.

Choosing to be present disrupts the attention economy⁣.
⁣
Choosing to rest over working more disrupts capitalist tendencies to exploit⁣.
⁣
Choosing to untangle your own belief systems over blind acceptance disrupts white supremacist ideologies.
⁣
Choosing to show up in the world as you disrupts the multi billion dollar industry that would rather you doubt yourself⁣.
⁣
And all of these things lead you back to being a creative person. The person you were born to be, the person you are at your most natural state. Go forth and disrupt.
