My first baby portrait. I was calling about a charge from a business I did not know. The man found my website and asked if I ever did children’s portraits. I said no. Then I thought, why not try? I really loved the reference photo he sent me. So this is the result.

A wedding painting for two of my favorite people! Shelby Lunderman and Taylor Jones, step-son and new step-daughter got married in March on Whidbey Island in Washington.

A 2 year late wedding present for my nephew and new niece. A December wedding! It was before the pandemic, a Christmas wedding. I am not a live wedding painter. I get so many requests for that service. I paint from favorite photos after the event which allows me to work in my studio. Are these two not just charming and beautiful? Almost looks like they are from another century! ( except for the hip glasses! )

Covid has altered many wedding plans. If anyone has had an intimate wedding during this pandemic, a great way to preserve the memory is to commission a painting from one of the photographs. In some cases, the meaning and the moment are even more special. Life is uncertain, love is not.
