Hey everyone, we have an announcement to make. It's a bit long but please have a look. Thank you, and we love you Salem. ❤️

To Whom It May Concern:
Infinity Room has been honored to offer high-quality entertainment to the Salem community, as well as a professional grade stage for performers from all over Oregon and beyond, since NYE 2021. We have loved creating so many happy memories among guests, performers, and staff alike.
It is bittersweet, therefore, to announce that our final day of operation will be June 21, 2025. This is the 10th annual Make Music Day, which is an event to which we have felt a special attachment as a live music venue, and our celebration of which we have expanded every year. This year, we will not only host bands out front of our building all day, but we will throw a banger of an afterparty with karaoke, drink specials, and a few surprises.
Until then, we encourage you to attend shows, support performers, enjoy our house-created food and drinks, sing karaoke, and have as much fun with us as you can until we’re gone – that’s what we want to do as well.
Our reasons for this decision are manifold. Like the rest of our community, we've been fighting an increasingly uphill economic battle between rising overhead and cost of living versus stagnant wages and poor cash flow. We don’t blame our community for that – you all have yourselves and families to care for, and we recognize that even attending a free open mic with a 2-item minimum is more financial stress than many can handle more than once in a blue moon. We know times are extremely difficult for everyone right now, and for various reasons we don’t expect them to become any more forgiving to us or our neighbors.
We – speaking specifically as ownership – are also becoming burnt out beyond repair. As much as we deeply love our art communities, being members of the comedy and music performance communities ourselves, we have run ourselves ragged to the detriment of our well-being and personal lives. We have happily given of ourselves to see the community thrive, but martyrdom is not a sustainable business model, and we are only capable of so much.
This has been an extremely difficult decision to make, but it is the right one. We wanted to give plenty of notice to the community, and participate in one more Make Music Day, in the hopes that everyone will have a chance or a few chances to attend a show or perform again while we’re still around.
Additionally, we are hoping this notice might catch the attention of someone who is willing and able to take up the reins and buy Infinity Room. We are officially on the market and will sell to the right buyer. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for the arts, inclusivity, community support, and high-quality event production. If this sounds like something you might be interested in pursuing, please contact us at [email protected].
In the meantime, we hope to see you for music, comedy, and drag shows, plus karaoke and other special events, until we close the doors. We have loved contributing to Salem culture and hope to have an incredible few months ahead.
Feel free to reach out with any questions at [email protected].
