The building where we do our shows in Salem is actually a church and we use their annex which has a nice theater. Our shows welcome absolutely everyone from every walk of life, every age, race, gender, etc.

Now this does not reflect directly on our show but the property where we work.

The church is a very welcoming LGBTIQA+ building and for something like this to happen is absolutely disgusting.

If anyone comes to this building spewing their hate bu****it against us, this congregation or the hundreds of thousands of people who flock to this city. We will immediately have you removed from the property, the police will be called and you will receive a no trespassing order along with a public shaming from every single business in this city who supports all of our residents, tourists and businesses - and believe us when we say there are WAY more that do then don't.

Understanding how powerful this community is would be something to keep in mind when you try to force your bigoted, intolerance to people who have nothing to do with you and don't effect your life in anyway other than your warped and twisted, archaic ideologies.

Security cameras are in place, police will be watching our property for the rest of the season, neighbors across the street have a clear view of the building and their own cameras and may whatever you believe in help you if Salem residents are the ones to catch you.

Not to mention this chicken s**t person did this at 3AM when nobody was around to stop them.

Do not come to this building with your hate!

⚠️Salem Update - 10/26/22: Do not drive to Salem this coming weekend or on Halloween. Take public transportation if at all possible.

The City of Salem welcomed a total of 185,300 visitors downtown last weekend. This weekend’s counts bring the total number of visitors to downtown Salem this October thus far to 699,500 people, 57,100 people more than last year.

With one weekend remaining in October, the City continues to urge visitors to take public transportation to get to Salem and to plan ahead for their visit. Visitors should NOT anticipate finding parking downtown in Salem this coming weekend or on Halloween.

OCTOBER 21ST TRANSPORATION UPDATE:

Hi Everyone!

We wanted to let everyone know about the parking and transportation updates from the city of Salem.

We have shows scheduled today for 3:30PM and 6PM. Traffic into the city today and the rest of the weekend is going to be horrendous. We STRONGLY urge everyone to leave as early as your schedules allow to get into the city.

We recommend all of our guests to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to showtime. It is a live show and we like to start on time in order to be considerate of everyone's schedules. We are sold out the entire weekend and to make sure you get seated properly, in the right section, please please please arrive on time. We know it is very hard with the traffic and parking.

Also please note: the parking situation in the city is equally horrible. We sadly don't have a private lot that we can offer parking for, but there are lots all over the city. They do fill up fast and parking fees can be in excess of $40-50 in some locations.

The Salem Commuter Rail has a large parking lot but again it fills up quickly.

There are paid lots next to our theater on Washington St. We do not control them or have any means to hold spots or saves spaces. Public transportation, while annoying is the absolute best way to get into the city over the weekend.

We’re very much looking forward to seeing all of you at our shows today and the rest of the weekend. Please plan your trip and transportation and save yourself much aggravation. The city is absolutely wonderful and you will love what it has to offer! (In addition to our shows of course!)

Seven inbound trains and six outbound trains will be added to the Newburyport Rockport Line during the weekends of October 22-23 and October 29-30

The MBTA and their Commuter Rail operating partner Keolis have announced that there will be additional weekend service between North Station and Salem, and between Salem, Beverly and Newburyport for the next two weekends to accommodate riders visiting Salem for Haunted Happenings. An updated schedule is available online at MBTA.com/CR.

This year, in addition to the existing all-day service, there will be 7 more inbound trains from Salem to North Station, with at least two trains an hour after 6:00pm. There will also be 4 additional outbound trains from North Station to Salem, and 2 more outbound trains from Salem, one to Beverly and one to Newburyport.

Passengers can stay connected with Commuter Rail by calling customer service at 617-222-3200, following on Twitter or signing up for T-Alerts at mbta.com/alerts.
