I'm not sure how we did it, but we did!!!

Our season is 27 weeks long and we used every week to its max.

24 unique multi day--events in summer. 61 individual catering, and a retail location for 90 days of the season.

We duel vending some large events, cried our way through a couple, and laughed at the others. This season was ROUGH, but with so many wins to outshine the "L's".

Next year we aim to double the above numbers to 53 unique multi day festivals and 78 unique caterings. With no community support for another retail location we will continue to keep our eyes on the horizon and the wheels moving.

Our premium drink services have been on fire all summer at our events, Wykyk!!! We'll be doing our fall drink lineup and are stoked to serve up all the hot and cold beverages.

Our final events for Salida are Shedfest and the Halloween party on F st. And we hope to see you there. It will be the only time you're able to eat Mediterranean in our little town and we hope you don't miss us.

Again we are booked for all 2024, we do have some limited availability for our bus, so reach out through email or DM us your inquiry. If we said no to you this year, we will be reaching back out in November to front load you behind our biggest clients.

Our event calendar is still going strong! Join us Saturday for this awesome event

Join us Saturday, August 31st for our very first Family Day event at Salida Gunshop! 🎉

Stop by to meet some of our amazing first responders from Chaffee County Sheriff's Office, Salida Fire Department, and Chaffee County EMS and get the opportunity to check out their vehicles.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be there with some great wildlife education and activities. Plus there will be a yummy 4-H Bake Sale and Peaks 'n Pitas food truck will be serving their delicious food all day!

We will also have kids firearm safety education and kids safety awareness classes throughout the day! ✨️

Dear Foodie friends,

Peaks 'n Pitas will be closing its retail location until further notice. We will be open this week only, after which we will be transitioning from our current location. We apologize for the short notice; the pace of these recent developments has taken us by surprise.

We extend our heartfelt wishes for continued growth and success to the Salida Distillery.

To our customers, we cannot express enough our gratitude for your unwavering loyalty and support. These past few years have been an incredible journey, filled with challenges and triumphs, and we wouldn’t trade a moment of it. As we navigate our next chapter, we promise to keep you informed every step of the way.

Please join us during our final week of service, this Wednesday through Saturday, August 28-31 from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Were catering weekly and sometime multiple times a week on top of our event calendar and retail location. We are starting to accept winter holiday bookings. The slots are first come first served and we LOVE doing local parties. So book quickly before slots are gone.

Good events are the cornerstone of what makes our town, our town. It showcases a lifestyle that only a handful understand, and even less enjoy long term.

When we arrived in this town a little over 3 years ago, centennial Park was a fraction of what it is today; it now has an upgraded skate park, pump track, splash pad and so much more. In just a few years it has transformed from a small play structure, to a bustling corner of activity and community engagement.

We could not be prouder to support this town event for the second year in a row! Last year was wild to see pros compete. This year we expect it to be even bigger!!! This one is totally worth a pop in.

It's looking like another beautiful day shared with all of you downtown at Riverside park!!! The Salida community center puts this event on every year, FOR FREE, for our community. This is our favorite non profit for the town because of their commitment to our town and its prosperity.

With headliners like these it is 100% going to a banger, don't forget the 9:00 o' clock bike parade (we'll be riding around), followed by the fireworks. Really, we couldn't think of a better day next to the river!

Can you believe it? We are attending a festival for the third year in a row. We had no idea what the path of our journey would look like. But like the river--it had its high and low flows, moments of achievements and moments of failure. But in the end, we made it not only to year 3 of our opening, but multiple years of attending this, and many other local gems.

Like most local things we wanted to bring to life a new experience. Stop by our spot during the event! You can't miss the expanded carnival themed menu items, and expanded drink menu: limited quantity and limited availability.

It was a great reveal and we loved the positive messages about our expanse to serve chaffee county and all of Colorado!!!

With the new trailer we can now:

-hold twice as much frozen and refrigerated foods!
*
-twice as much equipment; allowing us to expand our menu for all events.
*
- twice as much cook space, quadrupling our production for events and reducing wait times!!!
*
-smaller overall footprint and towing, meaning it's more accessible for all events across Colorado!!!
*
-acceptance of smaller local events. YES THATS RIGHT, if your event ranges from 100-500 we used to be unable to service the account. Now if you are in Howard, Buena Vista, or Salida--we can take you
*
-a second trailer, increasing time and hours in our retail location to serve you Salida. Usually we're gone 15 summer weeks before closing for the season!!!

It was a tough call to expand this way, but we did it. Our calendars are heavily booked, but we would still like to see if you have us at your next... ANYTHING.

Our first major festival is kicking off next weekend for the 2024 season, and we could not be more excited for it!!! We have a ton of surprises to reveal at this local event so stop by and check it out--there is no way you could miss it, and we are excited to show you what we have discretely been working on!

This year we are able to extend more aid to some of our biggest supporters--we have sponsored this event and think it's cool to see our logo on their posters, banners, and announcements on stage! For the first time in 3 years we can finally support the people that support us.

We attended this event as volunteers before we even thought about starting our foodie vision. We set up fencing, handled their POS to sell beer and food tickets, broke down the event, and moved trailers for them after everything was loaded up--it was very late evening lol.

Some things to note about our sponsorship!!!

We will exclusively and privately cater FOR FREE all bands attending this event. Thank you for attending this event and making our town a little more joyful!!

Rotary will provide all volunteers with a singular meal voucher, good for one free entree from us.... ITS OUR WAY OF SAYING THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT US. They do sooo much for the community that is never discussed.

We will be releasing some of our more "high end" products for the first time to the general public at this event! If you think we're just pitas, you're going to wanna come check out how we changed!

More menu items than ever before will be provided to the SCC and Rotary, this will be the only time we expand ourselves this way. Again thank you for supporting us over the years, it has been full of ups and downs and we're not 💯 sure if we could have made it without your support.

Dear Foodie Community,

It is with heavy emotions that I share the news of our G st. location's closure. Your unwavering support has meant the world to us, and this decision was not taken lightly. We appreciate each and every one of you who made our downtown spot so special.

Though this was not our intended direction, our journey continues on. Peaks 'N Pitas will serve as our event truck. Catch us for local pop-ups and events all season long! Stay tuned for our event calendar.

Our 2024 event calendar is completely booked! We are grateful for the full, busy summer ahead. We only have a couple catering slots left. Book now before they're gone!

Lastly, get ready for a new chapter unfolding this May! We're thrilled to announce the build of our sister trailer at a soon-to-be-revealed location. Keep an eye out for updates!
