• The one who will overshoot and overdeliver, because every little moment matters.
• The one who yells from behind the camera about how amazing, gorgeous, and perfect you look—every single time.
• The one who sends five versions of almost the same photo because your smile shifts just slightly, and I can’t decide which you’ll love most, so I’m sending them all.
• The one who will crack jokes, give you hands-on posing help, and make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease—even if we just met (but don’t worry, we won’t be strangers for long!).
• The one who might overshare stories or random thoughts during your session, mostly because I want you to feel at ease and like you’re with a friend.
• The one who can’t help but gush over your baby—and might secretly want to snuggle them (I won’t, but I’ll definitely be tempted).

I’ve had the joy of photographing the Lisk family over the last year, and it’s always such a treat to see them again—this time as a family of five with their newest addition, Bentley. Capturing their love and laughter as they’ve grown into this beautiful family was so special. Watching them through these seasons of life is what makes this job so meaningful to me. ❤️

-Year 35-
I sit here wishing I could write how joyous this year has been. How everything has been sunshine and rainbows, but I won’t. I won’t lie. Year 35 has been downright one of the hardest. There were moments of joy, yes. But there were moments of sheer terror. I’ve always struggled with believing in myself, but year 35 taught me whole new ways to not believe in my body itself. I sit here on the first day of 36 and still don’t know if I’ll be able to fully confident in my body again. I really do hope so. Even through all this doubt and pain and tears… year 35 did teach me something. Hope. It’s okay to hope again. It’s okay to have dreams that scare you. Even when things are darkest. There is always hope. So I begin year 36 cautious, yet full of hope. Thank you for hanging around. Let’s keep this journey going.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

The Meeks family brought so much warmth and energy to their fall session. Their rich, earthy tones paired perfectly with the golden light filtering through the trees. The kids were such a joy—full of laughter, playfulness, and the best personalities. Capturing their sweet connections was an absolute highlight. I feel so blessed to do this job and freeze these moments in time for amazing families like this.

Hi everyone! My name is Jade!

I am a graduate in Agricultural Communications and Journalism at the great Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. After graduation I moved to Salina, KS and have been there ever since.

I am blessed to get to work with college students through Christian Challenge Salina. I also get to make some amazing photos of all sorts of people. When I am not doing those things you can find me making something super yummy in the kitchen, trying to create something new, exploring the great outdoors or just hanging out with my dogs.
