Neighborhood News: The Salina Symphony will be performing Lights, Camera, Cabaret! TODAY at 4pm. Tickets available at the Historic Stiefel Theatre in Salina, KS door.

The Salina Symphony meets Jazz in Lights, Camera, Cabaret! on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 4 pm at the Stiefel Theatre. Enjoy an opening number from the musical Cabaret featuring Maggie Spicer Brown and dancers from Theatre Salina followed by two new works by Kyle Saulnier, a Vermont based multi-instrumentalist and composer who fuses American music with industrial rock. After intermission, singer Janie Brokenicky, dancer Alison Hiatt, and a Greek Chorus from Kansas Wesleyan University will join the orchestra in the telling of Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins, a work that uses wit, theatrical flair, dancing, and cabaret music to explore the complexities of human nature and society. Salina is hosting the Salina Crossroads Marathon in and around Downtown today and over 5,200 PEOPLE are participating in the state's largest marathon! Downtown has been full of runners all morning, even in the rain. Congrats to all participants and to the team involved with the marathon. It's been an amazing event to see develop!

Tuesday Tip: Are you hosting a Halloween party this week but still don't have decorations? Here are a few scary easy DIY decorations or party ideas to try:
• Pumpkin Pile Centerpiece (a stack of small pumpkins, painted or regular)
• Haunted Coffee Bar w/Fall Flavors like Pumpkin Spice (or relabeled like "Boo-berry Creamer" or "Sin-ammon Vanilla"
• Halloween Chalkboard Art Station - Let them draw their own spooky art
• Photo Station with Spooky Cutouts to Hold or even a Blacklight
