Her unique career path has allowed her both the vision and experience to be able to work successfully in unique alliances and settings. Veronica’s genesis in financial and marketing strategies was developed with an international banking company. She applied and enhanced her knowledge base as Executive Assistant to the President of an international credit card company. There she built a reputation
for seamlessly facilitating conflict resolution between her company, the government and private enterprise. Her meticulous communication, organizational and leadership skills enhanced her delivery of these skills. She successfully applied these skills as Communication Manager in the reorganization of a multi-million dollar community medical provider of services to the poor and indigent. This life experience was attractive to the American Red Cross who received her help as a volunteer during Hurricane Katrina. While there, she drove an Emergency Response Vehicle, a mobile kitchen, to feed and serve thousands of people daily. This experience further enhanced her perspective on “caring for her brothers and sisters”. Veronica’s valuable humanitarian work earned her an invitation to become the Public Support Associate Director of the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Her introduction into the non-profit world led her to fully concentrate her focus on grant writing and fundraising. As the Special Event Coordinator, Veronica was able to effectively engage and build brand loyalty within the community and volunteer base.
