I love creating wall art for clients! In this unboxing reel I’m unpacking a set of gift prints along with a premium wood print from Miller’s Professional Imaging. I worked collaboratively with my client to determine the size & the layout for her “right now” space on a table as well as how to hang it in a future space. I love the earthy and elegance of these wooden prints. Definitely a lasting legacy for this family of images they love. I’m still processing last week.
I wrote a satirical piece to my Writer’s Group; it lifted a bit of the heaviness in my chest.
I came down with a doozy of an uncommon cold.
I raked a lot of leaves.
So far I figured out that I’m good at connecting people, it is my life’s purpose, and I need to use that superpower to get people with very different views talking. When we villainize “the other,” we shut down communication. And remember, a villain is always the hero in their own story. (From the 2014 movie, Maleficent.)
We do NOT want an autocracy.
We NEED to work together to preserve our democracy.
We have to stop villainizing each other to keep communication going. It’s not giving in, it’s doing the hard work of relationship building. -Ginger Hudson Liemohn 11/11/24
