What do you like to collect? I have a large library, so books are something I collect but I love to loan out books. My garden is also a type of living collection; I like to collect some seeds in the fall to plant in other areas of my flower beds. The garden makes me think of the legacy we want to leave behind. This plant will look dead in about a month, but the roots are rich and established and the seeds will live on way past the lifetime of this plant. What legacy do you want to leave behind? Looking for a fall mini session with your loved one(s)?Comment: VELVET I will send you details! I’m not normally a “mini session” gal for a lot of reasons but the 2 biggest reasons are: (1) I love spending time with my clients to get to know them. The #connection time is my superpower for gorgeous photos and (2) I love giving my clients an experience where they don’t have to worry about if the photos are good, or how they download them, or if they have specific retouches they want, and I want them to PRINT. So did you know that for all my #highschoolsenior and #familyphotosessions that clients pick a primary date and a #raindate? During this #selfportrait session I didn’t pay as much attention to weather as I do for #clientsessions! Haha! I debated as to whether to shoot in the rain but in the end decided it was too much risk for my expensive equipment since I didn’t have an assistant to help me. I do love #umbrellas, though!
